I've ******* had it with this teams goaltending, Conklin and Osgood need to be sent down, bring up McCollum and Larsson................. YES IM SERIOUS! It can't get any worse at this point. D is loose at times but when they want to play they do and they step it up, goaltending is a lost cause right now. 3 losses to 3 s***e teams in a row at home.

We should tell the refs that we don't want anymore PP's because we don't know what to do with them. Conklin should be the man in the playoffs unless he f***s up epically in a game. He has been steady tonight and both goals were not his fault. I hope it's one of those nights were we play Red Wings hockey for 20 minutes because they haven't shown much if anything through 40 therefore the 3rd would be the 20 minutes of greatness. Forget the Presidents Trophy if we keep playing like this we won't get that 50th win.

I agree, why not let him get that PP time? i bet he would be more effective then Sammy and if he put up some numbers it would build his confidence even more going into the playoffs.

After our last two lackluster efforts i said i wouldn't watch until playoffs but that was just tough talk. I know they are bored of the regular season, it's not hard to see but lets play some playoff inspired hockey tonight to get ready for the intensity the playoffs will bring. Wings win this one don't know how don't care but they get the W. GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With Osgood playing net any team facing us (no matter how s***) knows that if they get a shot on net they can win, this is ******* pathetic. President's Trophy is now gone we will finish in 2nd and hopefully Babcocks starts Conklin for the remainder of the season to have him playoff ready. GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Osgood out, Conklin plays the rest of the games and is the starter come playoffs. Even with our mediocre play in the 3rd this should have been a wrap as long as the goaltender can make some routine saves.

Why do we allow this team to stick around? oh ya so this could happen. This team is ******* sad right now, if they could finish on all the offensive possession they had then the preds would be out of it and not having the thought of coming back but of course we suck it up.

It's not worry as much as it is shocking. No team ever in the history of hockey will lose like this against Joey Macdonald. I know this team can pick it up when it matters, but why blow a game that would have been an easy 2 points and a step towards home ice through out the playoffs? Frustrating very ******* frustrating.

They are gimmies as long as you play to your potential. It wasn't even that bad of a game for the Wings, they just can't finish, someone should let them know that the caliber of goalies they will be dealing with is going to soar. This was Joey Macdonald. [close thread] This team's shooting on net tonight was suck-ass. 42 saves and a shutout for JOEY MACDONALD......... Please! When will this ever happen again???? NEVER! This team just went down in history for one of the most embarrassing losses ever! no joke!

Humbling loss, first i want to give kudos to the young guys on the Isles for not being intimidated and giving a big f*** YOU to our Red Wings tonight. Now that i have said that, we were just shutout on home ice by the worst team in the league and we made a career backup/ahl caliber goalie look like a Vezina winner, what are we going to do when we run into a goalie thats actually a Vezina caliber type WAIT! Lets not even go that far what will happen when we run into a proven starter???? Next point, Hossa+Datsyuk+Zetterberg+Lidstrom+Rafalski = more of a salary hit then the entire Isles roster from tonight minus maybe Streit. This was ******* pathetic, say goodbye to the Presidents Trophy these guys obviously won't win it if they can't win a gimme game, nor do they deserve it after something as embarrassing as tonight. Maybe our guys can ask Franz Nielsen and Josh Bailey how to finish because we lack any kind of scoring touch. This has really turned me off from the regular season and now im just looking forward to the playoffs, i don't know if im going to watch any games up until then. GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!

Im not too skilled, i like to fight and i give mustache rides in the off season. Yes, i would be George Parros. Nah on a serious note, I enjoy being a setup man over a goal scorer and I like to hit alot for a smaller guy (5'8). Maybe a combination of Datsyuk and Ryan Callahan.
