I'm not much help either. You can't go wrong with any of them, that's why I got Franzen and my friend Chris got Cleary. They're all solid winners, whether they finish their career here or not. Know why? All three are 100% HEART! And that's what's important.

Once the streams available have been announced for Myp2p, the member "NASN" typically has one of the better streams available. Now is a good time to catch online streams, as most people are able to catch the game on cable, providing a less choppy/better quality stream. Also, as he streams the channel NASN (given), it's normally the CBC feed which typically has better pre and post game coverage (commentary aside). I believe it's channel 36451 on Sopcast, VLC required.

Half-way through the first Overtime, I developed the worst heartburn of my life, which of course intensified and lasted through the rest of the game. Can't imagine how the players felt...

Kronwall is a MACHINE. Its exciting to anticipate what kind of great hits he'll throw each game.
-
Absolutely grand. And Kronwall plucked that guy off like a Mosquito! Amazing.
-
Absolutely hilarious. Go Wings!! haha

Yeah, it actually started at 2ET. Hopefully some spliced videos of each interview surface afterwards, as I'm catching it late as well.

Friends and I went for game 2 of round 3, so just last week. We got our hotel through Priceline, with the Name Your Own Price deal. We scored a room on the 49th floor of the Marriott Renaissance for only $80 a night! It's a few blocks from the Joe, tons of stuff to do in the hotel itself, a People Mover (monorail) stop right outside the front door, and GREAT views of both downtown Detroit and Windsor. We were all very pleased with the staff in general, and the beds are unbeatable. Plus, not being Detroit savvy whatsoever, we were completely able to find our way around, mostly by use of the People Mover. So yeah, hit up Priceline for a room. It's guaranteed 3 star for the price that's accepted! Our favorite places to check out were Fishbones in Greektown, Chelis and Hockeytown Cafe of course.

Friends and I went to Game 2 of round 3 last Saturday in Detroit, and stuck around to watch Game 3 at Hockeytown Cafe before coming back home to Washington state the following morning. We had a blast! We were seated upstairs, however a table opened up downstairs and we were able to sit with the rest of the crowd that gathered to watch the away-game. Pitchers of Miller were only $5, which we took full advantage of. Most of all, it was awesome to cheer, taunt and high-five with the rest of our Wings-fan brethren. The service was great, the games were loud and the prizes during commercials and intermission were pretty kickass as well. I scored a Hockeytown tshirt All in all, it was an amazing conclusion to an amazing trip. I just wish I could remember the end of the game. I didn't even realize Pavs got a Hat Trick. Like I said, we I took full advantage of the $5 pitchers Threw in a round of Jager Bombs for good luck, and I was reportedly taunting a pimp on the way back to the people mover

YESSSS!!!! Tied Game! Things just got so much more interesting

Wooo!! Finally!

Dangit! I hate that nothing is set in stone for these things. A conference final is a big deal, and having things TBA even DAYS before the event is a hassle for people. Sure, not for those who just watch it on television, but for anyone actually planning on attending a game! I'm flying out from Washington/Oregon at 4 am next Friday morning, just to get in town at a time that would be reasonable for game time, if in fact game 1 does start on Friday. This was all based on the fact, and stated by many, that we wait until a day or so after the scheduled game 7 to start. The only problem is that the series have all been so one-sided to this point, that drawing them out to game 7s is possible, though unlikely. I guess this is what I get for jumping the gun, but how do you jump the gun when the difference in a flight is $300 or $1000?
-
I'm anxious for it, but I want this to stretch out as FAR as possible. I'm not going to be in Detroit until next weekend! I want this series to go all the way to game 7, even if it is selfish!

The Wings didn't slow things down, because every other time we've become lax, it bites us in the ass. Why would we bother taking it easy on them?
-
Exactly.
-
Not that Versus is completely accurate with their stats in general, but they did mention that the Wings would have the whole next week off, and pondered whether it would be to their detriment or advantage. Finishing early comes with extra time as a reward. The only reason they don't announce exact dates before the end of round 2, is to see who we're playing and how their Arena could be scheduled as such. At least that was my understanding.

Friends and I just booked our flights and game tickets for games 1 and 2, from the 9th to the 13th. As prices skyrocket 7 days before flying, we figured this range of days would likely hold both games. If a 1 day rest after scheduled game 7, then 9th and 11th for games. Hopefully this is the case, as we're all traveling from the far coasts. Also, there's a Wrestling evening going on at the Joe on the 12th, so I'm hoping its just a one day 'rest', rather than messing with a one day on, one day off schedule. Ugh, we're really playing this by chance!
-
Has anybody heard/seen anything about getting advance Round 3 tickets yet? Rounds 1 and 2 were on sale for quite a while, so I'm surprised to see that they're not available through Ticketmaster or the Joe yet. Friends and I are traveling from both coasts to make these games, and need to get some things finalized.
-
If us and Dallas (I'm assuming) finish early, do we still wait until after the scheduled game 7 to start the new series? So that should put game 1 of round 3 on the 9th or so, eh? We're all getting our flights and hotel tickets A.S.A.P before the hike in prices and decline in availability. I appreciate the help!

Or at least ran out with wet hands. Ewww, clammy hands, haha. I love watching Manny. Him and Ozzie are hilarious together

SO glad we're actually getting a stream on TVU. I'm so tired of fighting Sopcast and the streamers who take care of it on myp2p. By all means, I'm grateful, considering I'd only be able to watch games on Versus or NBC otherwise. It would just be nice to be able to rely on these games being shown instead of waiting for things to work through the first period. Such a waste.
