Tardif Really stepped up his play in GR this year...he started the year only on a Griffins Contract, and made himself a prospect for the Wings....His biggest motivator was D-Mac....Mac And Tardif had a great chemistry off the ice, and Jamie learned alot from him. One major thing Tardif realized is that he had to become a more complete player, and I think this year he proved that he can be.... After the Griffins traded Keefe, Tardif stood up and became the Sheriff for the Griffins, and Held his own in a Couple fights against much bigger and stronger opponents, and even laid a couple whoopin's on Mitch Love, and a smuck from Peoria. He became adept at agitating as well, and played as he had a chip on his shoulder much of the remainder of the season which really opened up the wings brass' eyes.... My best comparison on the wings would be Tardif is becoming a smaller version of mac, with more speed, even a maltby type player, just not against dropping the mitts.... Hope this helps

Now here is my take on things...I am by no means Dom-Bashing but from what I did see it was a little disheartening.... Yes Goals 1 & 2 were hockey goals, plain and simple, I wasnt upset by them at all....on his part, Team wise it was a bit of a FUBAR... Goal 3 was my biggest issue....Now I know D did let down, and them going into their Defensive Shell was a poor Choice, but Dom needs to stop that shot....It was far enough away to be out and cut off the angle, and the replay did show he had ample time to see it after the screen moved. Now not saying that he played bad, or has played bad in the series, to the contrary (sp?) I think he has played VERY strong on the shots that seem destined to go in....just not the ones you would expect him to stop. Maybe it was just me being pissed at the Boys for giving up the Tieing Goal, but did anyone else notice Doms reaction to Arnott's shot? I didnt see him even attempt to block it, he went down and it looked to me as if he just shrugged at it....no glove coming up, not trying to get infront of it, but shrugged at it....Like I said, it could have been my anger at letting the Game slip away, but even a friend of mine commented that it seemed as if he was just a bit too slow in reacting to it.... And that is my point, I think dom is starting to show his age with some of the saves....5 years ago, that 3rd goal is stopped, same with the 4th....I just think the reflexes arent quite as fast as they once were... Now after saying that I want to reinterate, that I am by no means Bashing Doms overall play, which has kept us in the series at times where Nashville is swarming...Its just that the goals that seem to be getting by him are mostly seeming to be somewhat "Softies" Now Lets just hope Dom follows suit with his normal bad game, unbelievable game mentality! Lets go up 3-1 Tomorrow night boys!

We have the Highlights up, they are at the following url Griffins Highlights Tonights game was great for the boys, they all came to play, and dominated the game in a LOT of ways, their passing was crisp, they were finishing their checks, they were winning all the little battles, and it was a great team effort Now to give you all a heads-up on the Highlights... Reason they look all choppy is because of the compression we have to use to make the footage even able to be streamed.... Also, you will notice alot of "Extra" footage, is because we are obligated to put in as much FAN Experience footage in as we possibly can, so thats why you will see alot of the Burrito Battle, and what not. Now for the fights, yeah a couple of the scraps went Lake Eries way, Boychuck, and Denisov definitly pounded our boys, but Quincey first fight against Healey was a joke because everytime Quincey went in, he backed off, even more amusing part is that Healey Challenged Quincey in the first place. After McGrath was blindsided by the Ogre Puriton, Quincey Immediately charged him and fared pretty well, when they were on the ice Quincey popped Puriton a good one, and as on the highlights show he took a couple as well, but it was enjoyable watching Kyle go Bat Nuts Crazy going back after him, I have to give credit to the linesman for taking Quincey down....

HAHAHA Only can Sammy knock a guy over with an attempt at the open net.....WoW!

Well he was definitly on Fire last night, 2 goals and 2 helpers while the Griffins Trounced the Marlies 7-1 Yes Helm is a Younger Draper, but with better hands, and I even think a little more speed, the kid is just flat out FAST...He can turn on the jets and just blow right by a d-man, its good to see Helmer getting some points, because he was being robbed of them early on. Also Helm has been playing Center as of late, and winning a good share of the draws he takes, so take that as its worth....
