Well I have been a fan since Yzerman's first year in 83-84, when my dad would put me on his knee and watch this new Yzer-guy as he called him... I cant say I was a die-hard fan until the early 90's, because I did cheer heavily for the Penguins, when they were the Parent Club to the Muskegon Lumberjacks and always played an exhibition game in Muskegon, which we had season tickets for the "Jacks" until they left...

A pretty good collection of them have been against Love, thats the 3-4 time they have fought. All in all you can see Tardiff is a bit new to the pugilist aspect, but he has a mean streak in him that had helped him through a couple bouts... He is definitly becoming more of a agitator/grinder than before the season started, he is also being rewarded with some golden scoring opportunities as well

This guy seems to be putting the Panthers on his back and carrying them towards whatever they can muster up for a playoff push... He does indeed seem to be "in the zone"

That was exactly the case down in GR when he came back to us after the wings lost to the Oilers. He was an ok 5-6 dman up with the wings mostly because who he was playing with, but when he got 1-2 ice time with the Griffins, you could REALLY see his weakness' show through. That was the worst I had ever seen a d-man play, he was a literal pylon out there, and was a liability on the backend. Given the whole team kinda lost its gumption against the Moose in the West Finals, but he just looked horrible.

I agree that I really do like that setup, the only thing i have worries about is the speed of the chelli-lil pairing. Dont get me wrong, Chelli is a beast, and damn near immortal, but pairing him with the pain train seems to me that could be our one weakness seeing as how both of those guys arent exactly blessed with speed, but believe me, having to make that choice seems to be such a small one in comparison to some other teams who are not as blessed as us with our Depth. And also, some one stated that Big Rig (Ericsson) wasnt put on the Griffins Clear day roster, which he indeed was. If/When he gets sent back down expect him to pick up his play, since he is loving his chance with the big club, unlike some other guys who have been sent down, and took it as a kick to the nuts and played with out any kind of gumption down in GR

Well it has been awesome having him in GR It was a GREAT Influence on the whole city, not to mention the boys in the Locker room, the unfortunate part was the fact that the team has been so streaky this year that even with his leadership and energy infusion, the team just hasnt looked consistent. They show flashes of brillance, then almost as quickly, look like the are in Pee Wee's learning how to take their first slap shot, or make their first check. If he can honestly get up to NHL game speed, and get his conditioning back to where he will help the wings, I know for one I WILL GLADLY Love to see the GRIND LINE again! Heres to hoping his last few games in a Griffins uni goes out with a BANG!

If you watch the replay, the reason it looks like they stop playing is because they dont know where the hell the puck went either, it just happened to drop right down to Setoguchi where he got a gift wrapped present. It has definitly been a BAD month for the Wings, Glad to see Feburary gone BTW, Hi, Long time Lurker, first time poster
