I asked this last game, what the hell lol. They need to get stuart comfortable on the power play before the playoffs... Just tell me this is temp and samulesson won't be playing the powerplay throughout the playoffs.

I hate too say it, but it wouldnt be entirely terrible if columbus got a couple goals early in the first just to spark the wings to play harder than usual. Is downey back??

That might not be all bad, considering last year wings were banged up when they finnally got them in the third round.

Is there really even a "first" line for the wings when their healthy? Anyways m.satan would play awesome with either the datsyuk or the zetterberg line , but i dont think babcock would split up datsyuk and holmstrom 5 on 5. And he would probably keep the same normal 5 on the first power play unit. Atleast i would Anyways i loved this guy since his days in buffalo... i really hope holland picks him up!

Freakin samuelsson... Why can't the wings play as hard as they do in the final 3 minutes for atleast 1 full period? Common guys playoffs are coming, gotta pick it up.

So i live in california and i look forward to the few red wing game broadcasts, especially the national televised ones. I had my calender marked down for march 16, Wings vs columbus sunday at 12 on nbc. And as i check the schedule again its now instead Pittsburgh Vs Flyers.. Am i mistaken and does NBC change up the games too which would make the best ratings?..

So im guessing then sunday march 30th wings vs preds will probably also be replaced with a Pittsburgh or rangers game? I really need to invest in center ice next season. Ha, thats funny. I hope hossa is out again also.

A 1mph puck barely hitting his prescious goalie at the buzzer shouldnt cause big tough guy pronger too go cause a huge brawl out of it. Its funny how pronger took that little incident seriouse from a small guy like hanzdus, but when boogauard fully checked giguerge into the boards not pronger or a single duck stuck up for him. Actualley i said nothing about that, just that his pads aren't his size.

It was a 2 mph wrist shot that taped gigeres oversized pads right as the buzzer went off. Wow yeah pronger way too stick up for your team mates and show leadership by turning something small into such a big deal with someone who clearly is twice as small as he is. Even more funny because if it was lets say donald brashear or some known tough guy i can guarantee you pronger wouldnt have done what he had done.

I still remember watching a kings/ducks game this season back in november when pronger went after handzus a well known non fighter, at the very end of the game. Reminds me of how much i hate this guy. Can't wait too see someone destroy this goon.

Ducks have better defencemen on paper but in reality the wings play better defence under babcock and or because of lidstroms leadership. Also anaheim has a shut down line, (paulsson,r.niedermeyer, moen) and in my eyes the wings dont. But we do have pavel datsyuk.

Exactely what i was thinking. Hopefully they can play two equally physical teams in the first two rounds. I'm hoping the wings play nashville, because playing a 100% healthy colorado team scares me. Although i have no doubt the wings can take them, but you never know with all the injuries wings usualley see come playoff time.
