Not blaming osgood but the wings are the only team in the league who can't win games if they don't give 100% every night. The big saves just aren't there.. It also seems like lower ranked teams try extra hard against the wings and or the wings don't try hard enough against them. -

The amount of respect opposing defenders have for datsyuk never ceases to amaze me. The way every team backs off him on that blue line is just amazing and along the boards is just amazing.

You really think saku will center that first line in front of his brother? I personally see mikko being the first line center.

I find it funny that i can predict every time what lebda will do when he gets the puck. I find my self saying "No lebda" every time he decides to try and play offense.

Franzen being out is hurting so much.. there is no one else on the wings roster who would look better on filppulas wing right now.

Wow it sucks having a fantasy team with franzen, markov, kovalchuck, kessel and datsyuk all missing time. Im annoyed as hell.

I dont think its too early for babcock to start making some big line changes. Were obviously not going to bring anyone in, so something has to change. I wouldnt mind seeing helm playing on a line with datsyuk and zetterberg (yes i realize their all 3 centers.) Or moving ericcsson on the first unit with lidstrom. Those types of moves have the potential to spark something on this team. Only thing that i think needs to stay the same is the filppula/leino/williams line.

I benched marty brodeur so howard could start on my fantasy team today, wasnt an easy decision but i think the wings offensive are gonna come out flying and give him a win despite how he plays.

Maybe i read it wrong but im pretty sure it was a poster not bucci who said datsyuk and Z are past their prime. -
Murray has had him on the third line the whole year playing with two checkers. But yeah the guy has no attitude problem hes just being coached wrong ..Your number one goal scorer shouldnt be expected to be a checker. I say give him the ice time, and give him pavel and were money.

Frolov benched tonight for one turnover in a previous game. Hes currently a regular as a third line checker. I expect holland to make a move for this guy and i expect kings to bite.

He led wings fowards in ice time according to the FSN west broadcast, and rightly so. Seeing him out there on that 5 on 3 says alot about what babcock thinks of him. -
Filppula has all the time in the world right now too "break out" with all these injuries. Could be really awesome if he can gain that confidence this early in the season. I personally expect big things out of him throughout the next couple weeks. Z also needs to take over and get the scoring going and also shutdown kopitar and his boys tonight.
