http://blog.mlive.co...eciding_fa.html Money definitely a deciding factor in former Red Wings goalie Dominik Hasek's signing with Spartak June 4, Edmonton Journal: [spartak Moscow GM Andrei] Yakovenko said the goaltending legend has agreed to a one-year deal, but he would not release any other details, including financial conditions of the contract. According to other sources, Hasek is to make about $3 million U.S., which would be about 20 times as much as he made last season with Pardubice. On the other hand, he helped his old alma mater win Czech league championship.

Pronger Conn Smythe > Quenneville Stanley Cup

I don't what to sound like a greedy fan, just a hypothetical question. But does anyone else think that if Lids really wanted to win this year, then he would sign for 1 million to allow a lucrative free agent to be signed? Oh well, welcome back

If you had to predict what the 2010-2011 Roster WILL look like
CanadaBoy replied to stevkrause's topic in General
Lidstrom resigns for $1 million. Holland signs Kovalchuk. Wings win the cup. -
Thanks but no thanks Matt I appreciate you taking the time making it but I don't think I could wear it on my desktop
-
Kovy should sign for no more/no less then what Lids signs for Remember when Holland surprised us with Hossa? Hey if he wants to win...

Wings have only played 2 games that really count this year. Game 7: @ Phoenix (6-1) Game 4: vs. San Jose (7-1) Let's hope the trend continues for 5, 6 and 7.

As long as Ericsson doesn't dress.
-
One of the few Wings were 7/7 on the P.K. Only lost each game by 1 goal The most important thing is to stop making stupid mistakes... fluke goals, bad bounces, s***ty players dressing See you at the WCF
-
If any team can comeback, it's the Red Wings. I mean we only lost by 1 goal in each game, calm down.
-
Jimmy let's in one bad goal and out come the bi-polar trolls. f*** off. The Wings will win this one.
