Hmmm...one of our goalies went to St. Louis. HIGHLY unlikely he'll come back? I say it's highly likely that he will come back. St. Louis seems to be a trading camp for our goalies.

I agree with pretty much everything posted here. The death of his brother is nobody's freakin' business, because I'm pretty sure it has absolutely no bearing on the sport of hockey, or how AO plays it. I think it caught him off guard so much because he has done this same thing before...a few times...and not been called for it.

Fewer teams, not more. Quebec City won't get a team. If they get a Pro Hockey Team, Montreal will want a Pro Hockey Team as well.

I think it's 50/50 whether we. win the cup. or not. Either we do. or we don't. Okay, I know it's not that simple, but it's a tough call to make this year. Playoffs for sure, hoping for a conference championship, dreaming of the cup.

Keep in mind that with the injuries, things get tossed around a bit. I'm not one to spout of a lot of statistics, it's just not my thing. My point is that with those players leaving the team, lines get changed, chemistry gets out of whack. Yes, it's all part of the game, but so are slumps and losing streaks.

Any disallowed goal will tend to bring the morale of the team down, it can't be helped. If that goal had been allowed, it would have been a completely different game from then on. That goal could have been a spark to ignite the whole team on fire. Of course, I'm saying "could have", I know it's all a guessing game.

Consistency, or lack thereof, is the problem. Many goals like this, and worse, have been allowed more often than not. Officiating in the NHL is a joke. This proves it.

Hmmm...lots o' s*** to think about, regarding the expansion draft stuff. The part I don't like, though, is the expansion itself. Houston? Seattle? Kansas City? Are those even viable NHL markets? It's a serious question, cuz I don't know. Quebec? Hamilton? Winnipeg? Two of those cities had NHL teams, and now they are gone. I'm not even sure Hamilton would work, but I'd like to see that one just so Jim Balsillie can hand Bettman a big bowl of "go f*** yourself". I really don't think Quebec would get a professional hockey team, though. If that happened, Montreal would also want a professional hockey team.

Even if he had taken a few liberties with his hits, neither Kronwall nor any other player, deserves a knee on knee. You got a problem with someone, it's go time, you challenge him and drop the gloves. I've rarely seen a guy get up and just shake off a cheap shot like that. Taking someone out at the knee can have implications on an entire career, with recurring issues later on. Laracque knew he was going to be outplayed, so he did the only thing he could...play hockey like a retarded monkey. And, for the record, Kronwall's hits, while devastating and fun to watch, are not dirty. At best, he's had a couple that were a little high. Anyone who states that any hockey player deserves a knee on knee, doesn't know, watch, or play hockey. They don't know the people, and have no clue what's going on.

Abso-f***in-lutely! I can't figure out why some expect every player to be on the top line, score lots of goals, hit everything that moves, goal tend, fight, and be assistant coach. Everyone has a job, he's doing his.

I'd rather watch Malkin play before Crosby. If the day ever came when Malkin was going to wear the winged wheel, it would be cool. If Crosby were to come over, meh, I think I'd question the sanity of K.H. I can't really speak to Malkin's leadership abilities, but Crosby's leave much to be desired. Too much immaturity, maybe. Sid definitely overshadows Malkin, because he has been made the poster boy of the NHL, which makes question the sanity of Bettman (sucks). The thing is that Crosby was the first "go to guy" after the lockout, and that helped his star rise. I do think that all of the media attention he gets is way overboard and probably helped make the monster suckhole that he is now. If Geno wore the C for Pittsburgh, maybe it would be the other way around. I don't know for sure. I can't stand watching Crosby, so I'm trying to be unbiassed here.

Very aggravating. It's like monkeys with helmets made the schedule this year. The person below me wants to see Bertuzzi do well, even though he is Todd Bertuzzi. (my wife is now a Boston fan because we picked up Bert)
