and i didn't say anybody said he was a horrible player, i just think it's dumb to point at a game and say it's one players fault, franzen messed up but so did a lot of other players...huds in the box for 4 min for example, or maybe we should blame the players who didn't score while we were on a power play, or osgood for every goal that went in. boo hoo he missed a clear let's cry about it and ignore the fact that he scored a bunch of goals throughout the playoffs, get over it. HUFF. Anyways lets just cheer all of our wings on next game, and not worry about who did what last game. This way we just get to watch more hockey!

This thread is dumb, Franzen is a great player and hockey is a TEAM sport, you can't blame a loss on any one player. I'd prefer to blame it on the referee' s ass which was in the way...but that's just me<_< It was a hard fought game from both sides, we'll get em next game.

The result of my idea and my friend's (hkytwn) photoshop talents! -
Watched the replay a couple times and read everyone's input. Ozzie hit Ribs no question and Ribs had every reason to retaliate, after all he got hit in the face and barring any special powers I'm sure he didn't know if it was or wasn't an accident. If I got hit in the face I'd be pissed too even if it was a mistake. Now as for taking his stick and swinging it at Ozzie that was uncalled for, get in his face if you want, push him around, start a fight if you want but your crossing a line when you swing a stick at a player like that. Ribs lost his cool because they just lost and he was hit in the face but it was stupid for him to even risk being suspended his team needs him if they are gonna have any hopes of winning. Personally I think that Ribeiro should want to be suspended for his own saftey because if he isn't punished by the commision then McCarty, Downey, Krownwall will definitely make sure he is punished. Players don't take it kindly when you look at their goalie the wrong way so Ribeiro better keep his head up. And Ozzie next time watch what your doin with your stupid stick PLEASE!
