Maybe St. Patty will be back in tonight and score a goal or two for us. (wishful thinking) Hoping that they have a good game tonight, they had a good game yesterday and need to keep things going.

There has to be some people that are reasonable about the goalies around here. At times it seems like ANY goal let in is Howard's fault, then it turns into a debate about how the team is failing all because our goalie can't handle it. That's like basing the success of the team on any individual player, it doesn't work. I can't really comment about Howard's play last night because I wasn't able watch most of the game, but I agree with Crymson on the post shot, saw that one. Just because Jimmy didn't react doesn't mean he's not the go to guy, it just means that he wasn't able to react because of all the traffic in front of him - I'm sure it's happened to plenty of other goalies.

Try getting in there to check out the houses? I actually know where Lilja and Samulsson lived, they were only about 4 houses apart. edit - I realized I didn't comment on the original topic. I think it's great that they are naming that street after Lidstrom, he deserves it and it's very appropriate. Will have to drive by to see the sign one day, I know I won't be able to make it on the 24th.

I like #4 because anything to improve the players safety is good. They are out there playing at a fast pace and while they are most likely aware of some of those danger spots, sometimes it's impossible to prevent a run in there.

Point taken. I guess I'm naive when it comes to thinking people are honest most of the time so I give them more credit then is due. If you are going to copy and paste then yes you better provide a link and give credit where it's due.

Could be that he wanted to make his point and he had all that knowledge. I know I've posted something and realized I didn't have a link to back it up and made sure to edit it because people always want that proof. Not trying to be sarastic, but we are all capable of looking some of this stuff up on our own and he sounded very knowledgeable with his points. I understand when people post some outrageous comment, there should be something to back that up without us having to check.
