I understand we were in a very bad place last season, with so many injuries and in the bottom of the standings most of the season. But the fact that Osgood played 23 games the entire season, most of which came prior to January and then only 5 the remainder of the season did not do him any good. Babcock chose to go with Howard because he was doing very good, but anything could happen at anytime - you need a reliable backup goalie. But if you're going to sit that backup for extended periods of time and then expect him to perform perfectly when you do need him, I think that is having unreasonable expectations. I'm not saying we have to cater to him, he knows his role is as the backup goalie. He's always had a great attitude about his role whatever that has been. But if Babcock starts doing like he did last season and going with Howard simply because he's on a role, Osgood will get rusty. People seem to expect goalies to be perfect all the time but none of us are perfect when we don't consistently work on what needs to be done.

Look at how many games Osgood has played in the last year, of course his numbers aren't going to be that great. And he did say in the after game interview that he should have had it, but he needed to get the rust off. I think he needs some regular games so get going. I understand that Howard is #1 goalie now, but you can't expect him to play in 99% of the games and perform well. They need to have a good back up goalie and Osgood can be that if given a proper chance.

He needs to be able to play regularly. He cannot be expected to perform well if he's only given a chance to play once or twice a month. Last season was terrible for him and if Babcock chooses to go that route again, we all better be praying that Jimmy stays healthy because Osgood can only do so good if not given the chance to play in some games on a regular basis.

If he's given more chances to start games he should be able to play better.

Osgood and Howard are not the only players that prevent goals. The entire team lost this game, NOT just Ozzie.

Kronner won it for us when they were in Phoenix now he give it to them.

I agree, it's not always his fault for the goals let in.

I'm glad to see Ozzie getting a chance. Hopefully Jimmy gets better quickly.

That's ok for now, with the Dish crap going on I keep hoping that it will be resolved soon. Wings will win, this time in regulation. Go Wings!

Never really had many experiences with them. I think I'd rather have to deal with a harmless snake than some other creepy crawly that just creeps me out. Had an incident with a gecko in AZ when I was there, not cool. The person below me does not like when insects, rodents, reptiles invade their home when they clearly belong outside!

Both of them are kind of gross if you think about how much they're touched before you put them in your mouth. But I'll go with vampire teeth. Take the kids out trick or treating in the cold or Stay home and hand out the candy

Glad he's getting the ice time. I hope he has a great season and comes back here or gets a good deal elsewhere (if it must be)

Catching up on your Scooby Doo watching? All great questions and my answer is because they are cartoon characters and they don't need to worry about laundering their clothes. The Scooby Snacks were only for Scooby, Shaggy was just weird liking them And maybe Daphne just thought Fred was a great guy, everyone has their own tastes.

Congratulations! The only thing I can offer is that the box office is at the bottom of the stairs to the Joe. I think it's open up until game time, I was there once and it was pretty close to the start of the game they were still open. Give them a call tomorrow and I bet they can answer all your questions.

The reason you get crappy service is because they are all contractors that don't really care as long as they get paid for the job. I had a similar problem, not as bad when I switched from Dish to cable a while back. They contractor came out and hooked everything up, didn't completely finish but told me to call the cable company if I needed him to come back later that day. I called and of course the cable company has no record of the guy that was here so they couldn't contact him. On top of that, the cable company had some deal where you dump Dish and they'll give you some deal, but you had to let them take your equipment to send back to Dish. I don't know why I was so stupid, but that contractor ended up losing or misplacing the stuff and not sending it back. So I spent about 3 months dealing with cable and Dish trying to get it straightened so I didn't have to pay the outrageous fees for the stuff. Needless to say, this is one of the mistakes I will regret because I was so pissed at the poor customer service from the cable company I ended up back with Dish. The only good thing is that I'm not under contract with them anymore and when I move I will not be keeping their service.
