That is the problem with ticket sales, people that buy the max just because they can and then try to make a profit. Some fans are not rich but still deserve a chance to go to the game without having to decide between enjoying the Wings game and a household necessity. This is a great idea!

Hopefully...I think a lot of it depends on the condition of his body. Poor guy takes a beating every night he might not want to put up with it for another year. I'll be here watching though it seems we have quite a few LGWers going to the game. Make sure you all cheer extra loud for Homer's big night As others have said, we have to play hard tonight and better get the win. Go Wings!!

Sadly it may not be freaking out as much as a reality. This happens all the time to sporting events and concerts. The scalpers manage to get a hold of so many tickets that those of us that have to budget our money can't even dream of paying for it. I remember trying to see about tickets when they played in Chicago and I had no luck...I wasn't even that serious about going but if I found a deal I would have.

If you're ok with a slight drive look outside of Ann Arbor. I know you'll have the hassle of having to get to Ann Arbor and park but at least you'll have somewhere to stay. Who knows there may even be some that will run shuttles. Try Canton, Plymouth, Livonia, Novi those are all within a half hour to 45 minute drive (without traffic).

What about all the Detroit fans that don't live in Metro Detroit? Like many of our members here. The tourist perspective would be all the business that is generated in Detroit as a result of everyone coming over for the events. This will benefit the City of Detroit. Doesn't sound like it since the NHL is handling ticket sales.
