I did not follow this incident so I only know what I've read here and from posted references but I think that Bert is truly sorry for what he did and he probably never forgets what happened. This guy was young enough that if he decided he couldn't play anymore he should have found another way to make a living, yes it may not have been an NHL salary but he could have made a career out of something else. *sarcasm* But it's always easier to sue for money...it's the American way. *sarcasm*

In light of the news about the team flying back to Detroit Saturday afternoon, Sheri and I won't be coming up. We only had Saturday afternoon and part of Sunday to try to get to some of the guys. It didn't really matter to me about autographs because I'm not a big collector but for her it was kind of pointless to drive up there when we'd probably miss most of the opportunities. I really couldn't afford this weekend anyway, so hopefully I'll be there next year Everyone have a great time!!
