I'm depressed. I paid someone off to work for me tonight, ended up in a bar with 300+ Wings fans....ugh. I work with a bunch of Penguins fans. Not looking forward to work tomorrow.

So a couple Wings fans are going to be meeting in the basement of the Irish Snug on Colfax (I think it's called Under the Snug) where they have a bigscreen and a bunch of couches, if anyone is interested!

I was wondering if any other CO Wings fans (Denver area, specifically) had any plans to go out and watch the game somewhere. I had to pay somebody off to work my shift, so I intend on fully going out! Edit: I guess the "official Denver chapter of Wings fans" headquarters is at Govnrs Park Tavern at 672 Logan, I'm assuming a bunch of people will be there?

I have to work for game 6, but would have 7 off. So, I'm kinda hoping for a Pens win so the Wings can take it at home. We have a TV, but its hard fighting off all the people who would rather watch basketball instead of hockey.

No worries. Games 4 and 5 we will win and take the Cup again, this time at home. Let the Penguins have one night of celebrations, Crosby must surely be low on the Kleenex.

I fully agree. I wanted a Wings sweep, but then I decided I would rather watch the Penguins win once in either game 3 or 4, to see the Wings get the cup at home game 5. I don't think my heart could take a game 7.

I'm in CO and only game 1 and game 5 will be on VS, according to the tv listings. Lame.

Going to the game...if I have to watch the Avs sweep the Wings and have to go home with an Avs fan, I sure hope the Pepsi Center has an AED near my seat. Does anybody know if there are any practice sessions or anything where you might be able to obtain an autograph? I'd like to get a jersey autographed for my niece.

I'm jealous! I am a Wings fan and my boy is an Avs fan. We live in Denver. He was intending on flying us out to Detroit to see the game for my birthday (Feb 15), especially since it was his fault we spent $400 on tix and missed the Wings/Avs in Denver in Dec. But, flight plans/good tickets fell through. So I am insanely jealous!

God. Perhaps now I am not so livid that the *******, er, boyfriend LOST OUR STUBS after the 1st period, lasting in a fight the entire rest of the game since we couldn't get back it. Well, that was a waste of $350. The Wings have let the Avs win twice? Where's the arsenic?
