Canada and USA

USA is a little over-rated. Got badly outplayed by Canada but Miller stood on his head. Finland or the Czech's could definatly beat them. Either way they'll get smoked in the finals if they make it.

Whoever wins this game will win gold. Sweden might as well. USA, even though they beat Canada, got badly outplayed and will lose in the semi's.

Snazzy was the most optimistic/annoying poster on these boards. Thankfully he is no longer around.

lolol like another poster said it KILLS me how so many people think phaneuf is crap, overrated ETC. yet, at the same age they think ericsson will be a norris candidate someday LOLOLOOL he is a defensemen to build a team around, a cornerstone. sure the last couple years he hasnt been as great as expected but still. hagman is inconsistent, stajan is a decent 2nd line center, white is good for his pricetag, and mayers is crap. nothing earth shattering comming from the leafs. aulie is a good prospect whos 6'6" and teamed up with myers on the blueline for canada and the world junoirs. sjostrom, is better then mayers and will help toronto on the PP. win for the leafs.

Lilja won't even be in proper shape this season. It takes a long time to recover from being off for that long especially with what he had to deal with. Alot of the time he couldn't even work out. Lilja had a good 3 month stretch or so. Before that he was a turnover machine, and the one who was hated instead of Lebda. Lilja isn't anything special. Also, at this point Lebda (yes) is a better option.

lol people actually think lilja who hasnt played in almost a FULL year, is actually going to be productive? like i mean, lebda sucks and all, but lilja isnt going to be any better.

Obviously this is a D-Mac love fest here. I can't really say i feel the same. Came back in 08' just soon enough to earn another decent pay check to save his ass. It's a shame he luckily got into the Stanley Cup Finals game 1 and even got his name on the Cup.
