Thanks, but sadly injuries to players liek Datsyuk happen. The Pens were slightly better in this series.

i hate the ducks more. the pens are just annoying.

im proud of everyone else tho who was injuried and gutted it out. namely rafalski and cleary.

still, players didnt play up to par hudler hossa kronwall just to name three that didn't have noted injurieis. if we had hossa and hudlers production thta they both hadc last year we win.

Fixed. Datsyuk, Lidstrom, Hossa = no shows Zetterberg was the only "star" to play up to his capabilities. -

exactly my thoughts. i HATE when we outplay a team like we did to the ducks in 07' and lost. i didn't get over that for a while and it pissed me off. watching this series tho the pens were better, weither or not fatigue played a role who knows - only the players do. im ok with losing to a better team, but still somewhat disappointed because we were up 2-0. -
i love Z! seriously tho, he's my favorite player in the nhl and its not even close.

Oh ya i guess you can add the questionable "hook" on dupuis in game 2 that lead to the winner to the list on Wings breaks as well. -

The crease goes upward towards the cross bar. He smothered the puck on Ozzie's back which is a penalty shot. Not to mention all the posts the Pens hit in game 2, but i guess we just won by luck, right? -

Zetteberg smothered the puck in the crease in game 1 when the outcome was still in doubt. Funny you didn't mention that eh? The breaks went both ways in this series - maybe Pittsburgh's way a little more but not by much. We had more power plays in this game then they did. We were very fortunate that we won the first two games this series to start with. Then Pitts won 4 of 5. Gotta tip your hat and drop the bs excuses wether their warranted or not. -

btw i love the wings, but its easier to get over a loss of a series when u wernt the better team. lookign back we were lucky we didnt lose games 1 and 2 as well. i remember against anaheim in 07' i was SO ******* mad, pissed, upset that we lost.

Wings arn't making the finals 3 times in a row, neither is Pittsburgh.

Pens were the better team this series. It should have been done sooner IMO. Outplayed us in both games 1 and 2. We also got more powerplays tonight soooooooooo take the ref bulls*** somewhere else.
