Yah really, i'm shocked. He turned down reportedly 9 years at 9 mill from the Oilers. 7 years and 7 mill from the Pens. Just to sign a 1 year deal with the Wings. That's almost un-heard of.

Holland says Hossa wanted more then $7.5. Holland said he promised Lidstrom nobody would make more then him, he would have to call Lids to see his feelings about it. Hossa said don't worry about it ill sign for what Lidstrom is making.

Man this is f***ed. I was so smashed last night (Canada Day), so i went to bed pretty late. I just rolled around in bed for the last 10 mins and flicked on the radio for the 2 o'clock update. All i heard is Hossa to the Red Wings im like o.0 Thought i was dreaming!
