HUH? He already won the cup with the Wings and then re-signed. That makes no sence.

Smith to be on Wings next season?

Doubtful. I think he'll be in GR next year. -
Ken Holland to be on The Fan590 this hour.

Their blabbing about the Canucks right now. You should bump it when he's on. -
Ken Holland: Open to trade to replace Rafalski

I'd only trade for Campbell if it included Hudler from our end. As Hudler isn't a $3 mill a year player either. -

I lol'd. That's actully a catchy tune. But a back end of Lids - Stuart Campbell - Kronwall Wiz - Kindl would be nice. or a cheap UFA defenseman for Kindl. -

Yes, that's why you would trade for him, then let Ericsson go and sign Wiz as a FA. Campbell isn't "Drastically" over-paid, besides Markov he'd be the best defenseman on the UFA market this summer if he was. If Campbell was UFA this summer he'd get get $6+ mill easily. Christ, Bieksa is going to get about $5 mill lol I'm not saying this trade is realistic, i know it won't happen but if it could i'd do it. Campbell has missed some time, but isn't injury prone imo. Great post by Datsyerberger, I agree with everything. Especially the part that something like Hudler and a 2nd/3rd would get it done. -

How so? Even tho Campbell is over-paid by about $1.5 mill, he is still an elite defenseman. Was Chicago's best defenseman in the series against Vancouver. The guy has some serious wheels. Then we let Ericsson go, and sign Wiz. In this scenario we'd also have a little bit of money to spend up front. -

Naw, i'm that person on HF if that's what ur talking about. But seriously, that would be awesome trade. I know Campbell is over paid, but he's better then any FA out there. Only has 3 years left and we get rid of Hudler as well. I'd do it, then sign Wiz. EDIT: he has about 5 yrs left, 3 was a typo. -

Yeah, but i think Holland would go for the right handed shot. Suter/Burns would be great options. I'd prefer Burns tho IMO. Burns - Kronwall top pairing would be sick. -

Jovo is wearing down, missed lots of time with Phoenix this year. We can afford Ehroff and Wiz with Ericsson comming back at about $2.5 mill if priced right. With Ericsson gone we can easily afford Ehroff/Wiz. Which is the best case scenario for me. Then if Lids retires after next year and we get Brent Burns... Burns - Kronwall Ehroff - Smith Stuart - Wiz Kindl? Nice. -

Yep, looking for the Ken Holland special Plus i put 6.7 because no one should make more then Datsyuk up front. Richards obviously is a long shot as we'd be looking for D, but yah would be great. -

Weber isn't comming, it's just a pipe dream. Lids won't come back if the teams not a contender, so you know the Wings will get one or two pieces on the back end to replace Rafalski. Ehroff/Wiz would be good for me. -

Yeah i'm pretty stoked, off season just got a hole lot better Personally I don't want Kaberle, think he's a bit on the soft side but is an elite puck mover. I'd take Ehroff as my first pick. -

You know Holland will look for a puck moving defenseman with solid defense so realistically Erhoff fits that bill over other guys mentionned above. Rafalski is really under-rated around here tho, just happy for the cap relief. Too bad Weber/Suter arn't UFA's this year or else i'd be doing back flips right now.
