10 Minute Misconduct

I think we all want Franzen to be well. But at the same time we all want him in the line up because he gives us a better chance of winning. I think it's just odd that its been happening for a while and he's still been playing. Why wouldnt he have said anything during the week off if it kept happening? The good part is he hasnt felt dizzyness while working out and all that. Hopefully he can get some time off and we can get by Dallas without him and he can re join us for the Cup. It is the right thing to do by sitting him right now tho until further tests are done.

yah really, that was one of the dumber comments ive heard. maybe if the wings go up 3-0 they wont push it...in any event the wings didnt even no about these head aches at all til yesterday - Kenny Holland.

the best would be if we go up 3-0 then we don't really have to play him in the rest of the series at all.

even tho it says hes out for 3 and 4 there i read in other places that its just 2 and 3 for now until the tests are done. tho it could be more.

i dont think the wings are lieing about it because babs talked about it in his post game pretty fluently not like he was thinking of things to make up he said franzen practiced on friday then later on said his head was hurting and it has been hurting since the colorado series but he thought it was just because of the high altitude in colorado. then babs kinda joked like yah whatever wires are tied up there must be working kinda thing but they took him to the doctors and are holding him out til further tests (monday) for precautionary reasons. i believe we can get by dallas without franzen, but will definately need him for secondary scoring against the pens (if they make it).

winchester slashed him at the end of the game. but i saw a post game interview with franzen in it and he was all smiley and s***. however at the end of the game i didnt notice him go out with the team to congradulate ozzie.

not neccessarly. if he passes his tests on monday (knock on wood), he could be back on wednesday.

thats what i was thinking...but it was reaccuring head aches so maybe franzen didnt think much of it? idk

frranzen is already ou for the next game hes getting tests done on monday hopefully if he passes them he can play

franzen's also out for game 3. we outplayed them in that period but had a couple mental lapses that lead to there chances.

weird that hes been feeling this since the avs series but was still on fire...ah well at least its not lidstrom

No you can still play the trap with the new rules. Edmonton did it in 2006. Dallas does play the trap a bit if you've been watching there games. It's hard to trap when you don't get ahead first though.

3-2 Wings Zetterberg, Franzen, Kronwall

Lidstrom and Rafalski can shutdown Malkin or Crosby and Hossa, and Kronwall / Stuart can limit the other line. I'm not too nervous about that series, the big things the Wings have that the teams they have faced so far don't are defense. Not to mention a damn good offense on top of that. Aslong as Osgood makes the big saves that he has been i won't be worried.

Red Wings can play like a bunch of fairy's if they want, as long as they win the Cup. When your a coach you teach players not to retaliate etc. so i dont know why Cherry would even bring that i[.

lolol he didnt insult the wings and detroit in every way possible. i guess u missed when he said detroit is his favorite us city along with boston and he thinks well win ther cup. he was just hinting if they had more players like mccarty and played a different style they'd get more fans.
