I live near Vancouver and this whining about the refs is so ******* annoying. It's all their team and fans do. They always brings up the Marchand punching Sedin incident and most of the fans are convinced that he didn't even get a penalty. He got two and ten with 1:30 left in the game. How much more should he have received? THe biggest problem is that it comes from the top with the coach and GM doing a lot of the complaining. The other things they always go on about is the officiating in the finals, but if you look at the penalties the Canucks had much more power play time and got away with a lot of stuff. Burrows got away with a bite that would normally be two games, and the next game he scored both goals including the ot winner.

I think Sharp must have tricked Stuart there like Mickey said. Sharp must have called for it while he was being pressured by Hossa.

Had an awesome time at the game last night. Don't know if this was already mentioned but it was pretty cool to see Gordie get a standing O from the crowd and players on both teams when they showed him on the jumbotron. This is actually the second time I've been to a game at Rogers Arena and Howe has been there.

I don;t mind the Team 1040 guys. Garret is one of the worst colour guys in the league. I don't mind watching nucks games but lately I haven't been if it's on sportsnet cause i just can't stand him.

I think I'm in the minority but I like what Miller brings to the team over Eaves. I'd rank them: 1) Mursak 2) Miller 3) Emmerton 4) Eaves Only reason Emmerton is higher than Eaves is just because he's still relatively young and could still improve. To me Eaves does his job but I don't see any upward mobility for him.

Dats was on the bus listening to tunes and Babs came over and asked to talk to him for a minute. He asked who was harder to play against Bouwmeester or Seabrook. Dats then said "f*** off Mike" and put his headphones back on. Marek heard that one from Brad May.

On the CBC Elliot Friedman said it was basically a done deal that it's coming to Detroit next year, all thats left is to decide which stadium. The thing that's got me the most excited is HBO 24/7 following the Wings if they do get the classic.

You can't really look at past seasons point totals to make a judgement on this new format because the new schedules going to be quite different and thus the point totals aren't going to be like that.
