Isn't the opener sold out? Higher ticket cost or not. People want to see it and will pay it.

The Palace sucks for traffic flow. I usually try to come in off Joslyn Road which is past the Palace and you come down it to the Palace and then part far away from the doors, close to the exit and pray you get out quick....

We are the motor city, they want us to buy cars and not use mass transit!! Even though the auto industry sucks, I doubt we will ever see any type of mass transit like NY or Chicago. They want us buying cars!!

You should call them...Call the Season ticket line...313-296-7575 or 313-396-7575. You can talk to a real person and they should be able to help you. Did you buy the full season or one of those packages? Either way I would think they would have them to you by now.

I got to meet Stanley, Ted, and Joey Kocur. I didn't actually meet Paul Bowyer but he was the one that brought the Cup to the company. My pictures of the Cup came out crappy. Too much lighting from the photographer. I will be buying them from his website. Everyone was really nice. My friend works at the company and gets to chat with Ted and Joey all the time. Pretty bad that Ted has to work at his age but he must love it. He was very nice. I actually got my picture taken in his office. He had some really cool pictures in his office. Here are some pics: I took a picture of Joey's hands to see the ring and scars but it came out too white. But he definately has battle scars!

I was at a company over the weekend that Ted Lindsay works at and saw the Cup there along with Joey Kocur. Outside Ted's office is a picture of him and Stevie sitting on a bench in a locker room. I can't read the saying on the bottom. It is a great picture. Does anyone know where to find it? Thanks for the help in advance.

The Wings hired a company this summer to look at their ticket sales and pricing from a letter we received with our invoices or some other time. That is one reason they dropped some of the ticket prices and raised some tickets. I am sure they had enough reasons to do what they did. Point being, they sold out the home opener even if the prices were higher for the box office pricing. How am I attacking a former great? I have alot of respect for Stevie. More than you know. Just because I said what I said, it has nothing to do with disrepecting Stevie. I do not have to justify my opinion to you or anyone else. And I don't need your respect of my opinion. Maybe you should not attack people by calling them names because you dont' agree with them. People grow big balls when they are hiding behind a computer screen.

Wow you sure are nice! I am entitled to my opinion. You don't have to agree but to call me ignorant and stupid is just well I won't go there. The greed I was speaking of was the greed to make more money but I shouldn't justify my opinion to you since I wasn't a hockey player or an athlete I can't have an opinion. While I would love to see Stevie play again, he has too much class to do this. IMO players or athletics who pull the I am retiring and then come back are greedy. They don't do it for the love of it, they do it for the money. Stevie is far from needing money. He does too much on TV and commercials and his job with the Wings to need money. This has to be some cruel joke to yang some chains. I got the same email but haven't signed up for the updates yet. I will and hopefully someone will send a text saying this was a mistake. I wish it wasn't but he quit because he couldn't play at his best anymore because of his knees, they didn't heal in 2 years.

The game isn't starting until 8pm according to the schedule. I am sure something will come out about the ceremony. I vaguely remember seeing something about 6pm. My ticket rep told me they were sending out the tickets on Monday, Sept 15. So they should arrive in the mail a day or two after that.

Are you talking to me? I did pay for my season tickets in full already. As a season ticket holder, I have the right to do whatever I want with the emails I receive. There is nothing in the email that says it cannot be shared. If I want to share it, I may do it and I have done so to nice people who don't bash me on this forum.

Sorry I didn't realize I posted it in the link. My mistake. Brokers probably already have the password anyway. Why aren't I supposed to give it out? It was sent to me and I gave it out to whom I wanted to. True fans share deals with true fans!!

Selling the free password you get in an email is just wrong. Just my opinion. They are probably the same people who overcharge their friends for tickets. I cannot sell my season tickets for anymore than I pay. I don't feel right charging more to my friends or co-workers. I need the repeat customers to be able to keep my tickets year to year. I will always share what I get from the Wings on here!! I also have about 6 games left of my seats in anyone is interested. Not any real good teams.
