My boss said this to me and I think it would be good. If a coach wants to challange a goal or no goal, throw a red flag. It gets reviewed. If it is in your favor, good. If not, your team takes a 2 minute penalty. I feel at this time of year, all questionable goals need to be reviewed. No one is perfect especially refs. Comments?

Good point....I have never been in a suite at the Joe but doesn't seem to good if you are at the top of the arena and always looking down. Needs to be like the Palace as far as suites.

Good point. I know they brought in that Steve V guy from Nashville to get the fan base back. I think he is doing what he can with the discounted tickets to corporations for single games but that doesn't make this season ticket holder happy when the guy next to me paid 1/2 of what I did. Oh well, at least the seats are filled right. Not, I don't care if anyone sits next to me, more room for me to jump up and down. I do think they do need to make it more affordable for the average joe to sit in lower bowl or anywhere. That is why the lower bowl looks empty because of your point of corps giving them out and no one using them. Sad sad sad but maybe this Steve guy will figure it out. I know he is forming a new department to do just that, get back the fans they lost. Hope it helps.

Tickets are alot cheaper for the playoffs than last year!! I am paying about $100 less per game per round than last year. They are still expensive though!!

I personally already go to games. I am a season ticket holder. It is a horrible place to go to a game compared to other arenas. I like the view since there really isn't a bad seat at the Joe. But give me more leg room, cup holders, more bathrooms, nicer concourse. I don't think it would cause any boost in attendance but it would be nice. After all the Wings are one of the best teams in the NHL but we have one of the oldest arenas. Hmmm, go figure. If and when there is a new arena, they need to have more price levels so a family of 4 or more can afford to go to a hockey game and sit in a decent spot. My niece did interview with Olympia and the new head of marketing said they are going to build a new arena, when? not sure. Where? not sure. He said they would either build a new one or redo the Joe. Not sure how they would do it but that is what he said. I hope it comes soon cuz we are really in need of one. I hope if they do, I can get comparable seats for the same price. I don't think Mr Mike can hike prices up that much with the lack of buying now. But I would go to a game no matter what.... GO WINGS!

Game 6 is in the other arena but yes they refund your money. Not sure how fast but you get it back.

I am 19 rows up in the upper bowl....Mine are 44 normal season. For playoffs they were $54, $60, $90, and $170 each. Your are cheaper but hard to tell where your seats compare to mine.

They should refund your money if Game 5 or 7 aren't played. I know as a season ticket holder they say they will credit next years tickets but I am doing the pay as they play so I won't even get charged at all. I am hoping we don't need 7 games!! My heart couldn't take it!! GO WINGS

You know I am so annoyed with all that talk about the Wings not selling out. Who cares. The rink isn't 50% full, it is at least 90% full. The majority of the seats that are empty are lower bowl and they are at least $200 per seat per game. I wouldn't even pay that much. That is why I sit in the upper bowl. The media and radio needs to find something else to talk about cuz this is getting old and annoying. Hmm, I saw some empty seats in Dallas yesterday, what about that? The tickets this year for the playoffs are much cheaper than last year. My tickets for Round 3 last year were $272 for 1 game. They are $180 this year. I am selling Game 1 and 7 for $180 each game. Section 203a Row 19 Seats 5 & 6. Let me know if anyone is interested!!
