Haha, I can't hate on a coach who lost the players he lost and took the team he had to the playoffs, on top of that beating the Wings twice which is more than can be said for Colorado and Dallas at this point. Still funny though.

If PT was based off of heart and dedication to the team he wouldn't have missed a game, but unfortunately this is the playoffs and as much as I'd love to see him out, there just isn't a spot for him right now and there probably won't be unless there are injuries. -
Well done. Good reminder that the Wings did step it up a notch or two on the toughness scale this year.

Good for Downs. He brought something to the table that the Wings have lacked in the last couple of years and I think it also caused other players on the team to step it up a level on the toughness side of things. IMO his off the score sheet presence can attribute to some of the team's success this year. -
I tend to agree with the majority here in thinking the rest will be a good thing. However, IMO there's a fine line with getting too much rest between series also. See Detroit Tigers 2006, but TheCaptain19 makes a good point with the Penguins as well. As mentioned, Babs just needs to keep the boys going and they'll be fine.

Starting Theodore is a pleasant suprise to me as well, I've got to imagine though if he let's in a weak marker or two the Colorado faithful are going to be all over him. -
Hey Guys, first post. Been reading the boards for a couple years now and finally decided to join after this terrible decision by ole' Gary. I just signed the petition. Here's hoping that Al still swings the first octopi to hit the ice during the national anthem. I've got at least a 5 spot for the cause.
