Wow what a period so far. A lot of hockey to go though and I've seen enough of this team to know it's not over yet. -
Well at least Babcock can hold a lead with a team full of healthy allstars. On paper Canada should be running away with this tournament but they are still under performing. I'll be rooting for the Red Sweden Wings in the final though.

Smith didn't move his stick. The Washington player stepped on it which isn't a penalty by rule. It's not a penalty and was only called because they missed what could have been called on Ovechkin. I'm glad you know what each payer is thinking while they play, that must be quite the gift. -

I've always liked the old school NJ jerseys. I like that color scheme better then what they have now. The Rags jerseys are boring to me. They look like practice jerseys. -

Yes this is correct. A streak isn't a turning point.The streak defines the turning point. I haven't really read any of this thread but to be honest that fluke goal against LA would be my turning point so far this season. If they can keep this consistent play up and slowly creep up the standings, it has to be the turning point. Did I say turning point enough?

A win here would be so huge. Big 2 points and a massive confidence boost. We seem to play the good teams tough but that depends on Jimmy. If he plays sub par we have no shot.

Only good news is the Ducks played last night in Phoenix while the Wings basically just had to go across town to get to Anaheim. I don't think it will matter though and I'll be pleasantly surprised with 1 point for the Wings tonight.
