This was one of the better games to watch this season. Physical, good goal tending, Tatar creating and scoring goals (easily becoming one of my favorite players) and a nice result. Consistency has been Howies problem and as a result that has been the teams problem so hopefully Mrazek can play a good game tonight and give the team another chance to win. It's not going to be easy...

Wow. The Griffins seem to have the same problem in the shootout as the wings do if not worse. Maybe we should instill some shootout practice in this organization? -

Yea that's basically what I said lol. The Wings being on the edge of the timezone, have always wanted their games at 7:30. That and the fact JLA usually has a sizable late arriving crowd in recent history, has probably prompted them to keep the start times at 7:30. -

The last game was at 8 because it was on national TV. 7:30 is really only Detroit's start time and maybe Comlumbus'. The rest of the east coast, the standard start time is 7:00 for the most part. Something about being on the edge of the timezone, they push our games back half an hour during the week. -

Yea I'm sure it's been said in here but I also don't hate the guy. I have more ill feeling towards Holland for signing him than I do for Cleary. The guy played with so much heart and determination for so many seasons that his body is just worn down and he is half the player he used to be. He still gives it all every night bit his style of play has caused him to go down hill a lot faster than your average player. I wish Babs and Holland would cut the man love and open their eyes.

Here we go. This is another huge game. Scherzer can really put the boot down on Boston.

If it's because of the Canadian Thanksgiving, someone should be fired... If it's because Columbus day is some kind of bigger holiday in Boston than it is for the rest of the country than that would be understandable. Either way it's dumb I won't get to watch while I'm at work.
