I agree with the numbers but I have no problem with a goalie being the captain if he is the biggest leader on the team. Goalies can skate as well and if there is a discussion at center ice or whatever and it requires the captain, I don't see why a goalie can't meander over there. Besides, an alternate can normally do that and it's fine like when the captain is injured or whatever.

Hoping for an entertaining game since we get to watch it on TV. Maybe a couple goals and a fight or two.

Yea if anyone has any highlights or goal videos from this game, that would be great. I saw about half the goals but would like to see the others.

How does Sammy have a minus? He had an assist and Pit only scored once? I don't think Sammy actually looked that bad. He was average. Took some pointless shots that could be picked like cherries but he was jumping into the rush and making decent passes. Cleary looked below average. He floated all game and if I wasn't actually looking for him, I wouldn't have noticed him out there besides for turning the puck over once or twice.

Always good to hear the Penguins announcers down on the team even if it's just preseason.

PK looks good. Howie looks solid and Tatar and his line mates look comfortable as well. 1st intermission now.

I don't understand why people still have a problem with Abby on the first line even if he doesn't produce much. Someones got to pull the piano and someones got to play it. This year it appears as if he might be poised to do a little of both.

Team Canada Jerseys. Looks like everyone is rocking the fake laces this year if the Jerseys are Nike. I think they have little shiny maple leafs on the sleeves too lol.

Um... Couldn't a hawks fan just buy a ticket off stub hub or something? Just buy their one ticket like everyone does and move on? I don't think this will keep many hawks fans out of their building...

I will probably leave the WC patch off because I kind of treat it like a SC patch which I would never put on my jerseys but the A and C I feel belongs there...

I have a home Franzen jersey I got in 2008 and I just got a Datsyuk WC jersey less than a week ago. It's great except I got it as a gift for my birthday and it doesn't have the A on the sleeve. I looked them up online and for some reason the Datsyuk jerseys usually don't show A's except on a few rare sites. shop.nhl doesn't have it as well as amazon and many others. Zetterberg jerseys all have the C of course and even Kronwall ones seem to have A's but not the Datsyuk ones. I got the WC patch to sew on myself so I'm sure I could buy the A somewhere but that might be more difficult than it seems at first. If anyone has any idea where I could find such an item, that would be helpful.

Yea it's gotta be Quick, Howard, Miller. No other option really. Honestly I don't care if we win gold or not. That would be great obviously but I really just hope we medal higher than Canada.

I could have sworn I read somewhere this off season that Cleary already said if he comes back to the Wings, he will give up his #11 for Alfie. I'll see if I can find where I read that.
