    This meltdown by Toews is so awesome. If your alternate captain has to come over and cool you off while you sit in the box in shame, you aren't captaining right. We need at least one more in the third. No way this game finishes 1-0.

    I've seen more predictions from both sides that this is going to be a blowout when in truth we should know better lol. I will go with 4-3 Wings in OT but wouldn't mind a 7-0 Crawford chasing or something like that.

    I hope the Kings win this series if the Wings win their series. If Chicago beats us then I hope the Sharks come out of the West. I don't want the Kings to repeat and I don't like Chicago but I think the Sharks would be a hungrier team and would play the same kind of hard working game against us in the conference finals if that was the match up. It's really hard to repeat and the Kings probably wouldn't have as much drive to win playing against the Wings.

    I posted this on NHL.com but I figured I would post my feelings here as well... Man, it feels great to be on the other end for once. This series is far from over but it is starting to remind me of years like '94, '03, '04, and '06 where I was just so frustrated that the Wings had so much talent and cruised through the regular season only to get out worked and lose to a team with more heart and hunger.

    What a game. Game 4 is so huge. If the Hawks win and tie the series up going home, they basically have all the momentum back on their side. Gah! Thursday is so far away!

    I was thinking the same thing. Chicago won't go quietly. Get one more in the third at least and I will start to feel better.

    Not a bad period. The refs started the game like they were going to let them play but then decided they should start calling things here and there and have become completely inconsistent. Crawford looks suspect and Howard seems to be in the zone again. He is not giving up much in terms of rebounds.

    I agree but coming into the playoffs, I like to wipe the slate clean and I actually thought we would beat the Ducks. I agree, I would love to see the experts reaction if the Blackhawks are eliminated. They will all be at a loss for words.

    I still am having a hard time believing that we will win this series. Win tonight and I will really be second guessing my Hawks in 6 prediction. I think even if we take this series to 7 games it will be a success. The more Wings hockey I get to watch the better!

    We will show Chicago what a real madhouse looks like. Even when the Blackhawks were winning, that building was so quiet. Win tonight and the collar will really start to tighten on some of these Chicago players. LGRW!

    Q on that list is a joke. I herd experts saying at the start of the year that if the Wings made the playoffs that Babs should get a nomination for coach of the year because of how much their roster downgraded in the past couple years especially with the defense but I don't really mind the other two nominations.

    The Wings will play better in the next game for sure. The next game is another "must win" pretty much and we have seen how this team plays when that is the case.

    I think as of right now the Wings absolutely have a chance to win the series but I am not expecting that to happen and picked the Hawks in 6. I won't be completely surprised if the Wings over perform and win this in 7 though.

    I've been to a couple Wings v Hawks games at the Joe and there are always a couple aholes who think it's okay to clap and cheer during the national anthem just because they are wearing Chicago gear. As long as you don't do that or try to start a "Detroit sucks" chant, you will be fine.

    My Mom was losing her s*** at the end of the game. Then she did the most ridiculous happy dance in front of the TV and started pointing and saying "HAHA Losers" When she saw Perry on his knees. If I recorded it and put it on Youtube, it would be the greatest video of all time lol but I wasn't fast enough.
