Losing V-Mart is a huge blow. He had an amazing season last year so hopefully we sign someone to help soften the blow. Maybe Vlad Guerrero? He's old but veteran players always seem to do well in Detroit. Plus we mainly would just need him for DH. I just hope Dombrowski does something and doesn't think this current roster is enough to win a World Series because it's not.

These next two games should be snoozers. And wins. Starting with this game against the Yotes in Hockeytown 2.0, Wings win 4-1.

Yea that will be great. I sure hope Homer and Lids are on the team next year for mainly this reason. Datsyuk would be pure gold as well as he always is around a camera. I don't know anything about HBO. Is it only an American station? I could see why Burke wouldn't want his team to participate if that was true but I still think he's a ******.

I like the Wings striped jersey with "Detroit" on the front but I just wish it was a bit more Red. For a home game I would like to see as much Red as possible. As for beer/alcohol. Just bring it in. They don't search 115,000 people. I have a flask that will be coming with me. I am 100% going no matter the cost or where it is. This is the greatest thing ever.

I have actually liked the way Emmerton has played when he gets in but I would definitely rather see Mursak with his speed and skating ability. I am sure he will play tomorrow because of the back to back. Hopefully the team isn't thinking about the record as much as we are because that could end badly. LGW!

I do have a serious question though. For some reason I don't have the achievement for completing 10 side quests... Is that just 10 miscellaneous quests? I have definitely done at least 70 of those. Also check this video out...

This should be fun. I actually have been playing as the Islanders in GM mode on NHL 12 for a month now so I have gotten to know the players pretty well. (Well... names, positions and video game stats). I like to pick a crappy team and make them into a dynasty like last year I did one with the Panthers. Moulson is turning into a star for that team. He has a great shot so hopefully whoever matches up with him plays at a high tempo and doesn't give him much room because he will bury it. Wings have too much skill though to let this one slide even with the players out. 5-3 Wings.

They will be back next year. A lot of positives to take out of this season. I am pretty excited for the future of this team.

Conklin has the ability to play well but even a backup goalie needs some action every now and then so I'm not sure you can blame him if he plays poorly. He just hasn't played enough. I still think they will come out with a better effort then last night. 4-2 Wings.

I was just going to say, I doubt he used the 'N' word because if a ref heard that, it would be a much bigger deal. I was thinking along the lines of a monkey or something banana related as well which it turns out was the case. I'm not sure on what the league should do about this specific comment but I'm with esteef on this one. If you don't want the specific word to be said to you, then stop calling each other it especially in music that EVERYONE listens to.

Delmas will be huge to get back. Him alone will significantly improve our secondary. Same with Suh and Fairley. A good pass rush can seriously help poor coverage. While things look pretty grim going against Brees having a career year, crazier things have happened and I know the Lions will play with all they got. I'm pretty excited to just watch a Lions playoff game ragardless. I will have two TV's set up in my living room to watch the Wings and Lions. It's going to be a great day for sports.

Win and we are within 1 point of Chicago. The Stars are playing pretty average right now but as are we on the road. Look for Howard to keep us in it early again.

Obviously with those numbers I would pick B but if they looked a bit more like this... Goalie A: 65 starts, 42 wins, 1.95 GAA, .925 Save%. Goalie B: 54 starts, 32 wins, 1.70 GAA, .940 Save%. I would pick goalie A every time. With that being said, if Elliot gets the majority of the workload and not Halak and he keeps his numbers up, he will win the Vezina.

How many of those 90% French speaking fans do you think can speak English as well? Probably close to all of them especially the younger ones. So would it really be a burden to listen to an interview from the coach in English which you can certainly understand just fine? It's a game FFS. Everything of importance in their life like business and whatever else is probably done in French. I actually went to Montreal 2 years ago in the summer. I don't speak a lick of French and I had no trouble eating out or going to bars or anything really.
