I feel bad for the fans at this game. I know how I would feel if it was me wasting my time and money on a s***ty display like this. This will be the first game I quit on all season. I have a paper to write anyways... -

I'm guessing even if Howard dresses, that he wont start right? I think Joey deserves another start anyways. Rest up Howard and get him in there against Nashville. Well he did go to the net on the first goal I think it was and as a result they scored but that is a rare occurrence and I agree he just looks effortless out there. He has enough skill to be useful even when he is barely trying but hopefully he turns it on in the playoffs and plays with some heart. I didn't buy your jersey for nothing Mule!

Yea this is a game I would really like to see the Wings win. I would love to put some doubt in Chicago's playoff hopes on versus. I think they can win and if Joey plays good I'll be stoked. 3-1 Wings. Mule, Kronner, Helm. -

I don't think I have ever seen a 22 minute period played. Will be kinda interesting as well. Good game so far though, nice to see the PP passing so crisp. -

They have definitely controlled play in periods here and there the past couple games but that's all they have done. Now we need to move on from 20 minute sessions of good hockey and string 3 of those together for a complete game. Hopefully since it's Jimmy's bday, he plays great, gets a win then gets the guys to buy him some victory/birthday drinks after haha. -

The game against Toronto on Saturday sure isn't going to be much easier. Vancouver has little to play for at this point other then coasting into the playoffs with no more injuries while Toronto will be fighting for their lives. The Wings who look anything but hungry for wins could have another painfully frustrating game on their hands unless some players start eating their Wheaties for breakfast.

God damnit that game was painful to watch. I don't know what the hell is wrong wrong with the effort but it just looked like they didn't care for over half the game. If these players out are good enough to go in the playoffs, I say put them in now... this team looks lost without Datsyuk.

Chicago is definitely a current rival of ours. There is no formula for what makes a rival. Original six teams in the same division and heated games that feel like a playoff game every time we meet sounds like a rivalry to me. I would agree with the rest of those though. This is a big game for the Wings. We need to put trashville in their place. 4-2 Det. Oh and GO BRONCOS! Win that CCHA championship tonight at the Joe!

Looking for a full 60 minute effort is all... We should be able to win both of these next two games fairly easy but nothing ever goes as planned. I say this game will be 3-1 Wings.

This isn't even a debate on if the Wings should go for him. We don't need a forward. I wouldn't be surprised to see him picked up by another team though.

By the way, any news on Eaves? He didn't return after he appeared to strain his knee in the second did he? Can't afford any more injuries regardless of who it is.

Big champions league knockout games are starting up in the round of 16. Chelsea plays FC Copenhagen from Denmark in about an hour. Go Blues. Hopefully Torres has a good game today.
