this is a pretty vital game. even with games in hand i dont want to see us drop in the standings so a win would be great. plus its a big game for howard coming off an injury. cant wait for this one.

the flames fans are pretty ridiculous on that board. they seem to think nobody calls interference on holmstrom. i'm pretty sure that rule is strictly enforced because of and specifically for holmstrom. but anyways, im thinkin 2-1 wings. close game but howard proves to be the difference. goals by mule and pav.

charging/boarding. whatever you want to call it and interference as well. hitting from behind may be stretching it but i guess its still a blind side hit seeing as where he skated from to hit him even if the actual contact was shoulder to head/shoulder. -
my blues are comfortably on top right now. I am going to the England euro qualifying match against Montenegro tomorrow though. Soo pumped.

didn't get to catch this game being in europe and all but by the sounds of it ozzie played well which is huge. we are going to need him all season long to step in and give howie a break here and there. good to see flips production starting off strong as well.

Ozzie has to bring his A game tonight. If he does and the team in front of him plays close to how well they did last night... This game will be fun to watch.

im studying abroad in london right now and everyone of course is pretty drunk but im goin to catch this game at 12:30am here. i havnt missed a season opener in years. i can't wait for this.

i agree with most of that but kovalchuck is definitely in the top ten in my book. the guy is a scoring machine.
