Very disappointed in Russia tonight. Not a good showing. I hope whomever Canada plays next knocks them off their pedestal.

I hate the majority of players on Team Canada. I love Steve, I think Babs is awesome....but their team? Ick. No thank you. I hate these people on their regular NHL teams, so I'm going to hate them more when they're all on one big super team of ******. I'd like Sweden to take the gold and barring them, the USA of course.

There's still time for Russia to mount a comeback. I hope. Stranger things have happened.

I don't get this. Those who are cheering for the USA can't be excited they beat Canada at hockey for the first time in 50 years because we may not win a gold medal in the end? That's absolutely hysterical. If Canada had beaten the US, the chest-thumping, back-slapping and fist-pumping from Canadians here would have crashed the server, but you have the gall to tell those rooting for the other team, "don't get too excited, you haven't won anything yet." Are you s***ting me? I want Sweden to win the gold and barring them, the USA of course......but who the hell here has crowned the US Olympic champs? I don't see anyone doing that. I see a bunch of people happy their team beat their rival, on their ice, in their country. You must wear industrial-strength boxers to hold up the weight of those massive balls.

I also don't care what station they're on, but you'd think a match-up like Canada/USA would get marquee billing on NBC. I mean, that would be like airing the Oscars on MTV or something. Makes no sense. Then again, nothing NBC has done in the last 5 years or so has made any sense and when you add Bettman/the NHL to the mix, you get even less sense than that. I know, I know......hockey isn't as important to the US as it is to Canada and I get that. That doesn't mean American hockey fans should be left with their thumbs up their asses, either. For Christ's sake Bettman.....get it together.
