Is there anywhere I can watch this game online?

Even if you are, that's okay. Different strokes for different folks. He's just not my cup of tea. Even if he had a better personality, I still wouldn't be attracted to him. Edit: Any online streams available to watch the game? I don't feel like going downstairs and turning on the TV. LOL.

As a straight female, allow me to give my unvarnished opinion of Sid's looks. I wouldn't do him with Jenna Jameson's vagoo.

If I had his kind of money, I wouldn't care about my looks either. Not that I'm a dog or I'd stop taking care of myself, but I'd certainly worry a lot less about what others thought of me.

I've seen some of the most beautiful women in the world hanging all over some of the most butt-ugliest men that ever were butt-ugly. Those men were all TREMENDOUSLY rich. No coincidence, I'm sure. For the right amount of money, you can close your eyes and pretend it's Johnny Depp down there.

I've seen other photos of him where he looks a lot better. Maybe it's just a combo of his hair and the fact he has a very triangular facial structure.

If he was a Red Wing, he wouldn't be as universally loathed as he is, because there's no way in hell that Babs, Nick, Kenny or anyone else would tolerate his juvenile bulls*** for much more than 5.6 nanoseconds. So yeah, we'd probably end up liking him because he wouldn't be a ******.

The only thing that would make me wretch more than seeing Sidney Crosby with the Stanley Cup is seeing him with a gold medal around his neck that he didn't borrow from Mario Lemieux. I suppose I should root for the US but none of my favorite Wings are on that team, so I'm pulling for Sweden. Back-to-back golds for Nick and then he can retire.

The point is, it's not competitive now. That's not saying it won't ever be in the future, but that right now it makes zero sense to have a sport where only two countries are actually fielding teams capable of medaling. It's embarrassing to watch. I'm not anti-woman, seeing as I'm a chick......but I don't think we have to absolutely do every sport the men do just to show that it's physically possible. I'm sure there's a woman out there who can do the pommel horse, but should that be added to ladies' gymnastics? Maybe there's a guy out there who can do a terrific Bielmann spin, but should that be a judged move in mens' singles? The US and Canada are the only countries right now that can put teams on the ice in women's ice hockey that are capable of winning medals. That is not enough to warrant inclusion at the Olympics. Eliminate it and re-instate it when there's more parity.

I believe so, yes. It just wasn't globally competitive and therefore needed to be eliminated.

I had my first drink for my 21st birthday. I had no desire prior to that to drink and frankly......I don't have much desire to drink now and I'm nearly 28. I hate being around drunk people or people who are drinking and being loud and stupid, which is why while I love going to baseball games and concerts, I also cringe at the same time. It's like.....for f***'s sake, put the beer down and shut up. I'm not anti-alcohol, I'm anti-drunks.

I'm no liar, sir. I have one drink, once a year. That's on my birthday. My parents take me out for dinner, I have a Cosmopolitan. I don't even drive to the restaurant, so there's no chance I'd be driving home. If I have to take any doctor-prescribed medication that would impair me to the point where I'm advised not to drive......I don't drive. If I'm roadtripping with my sister and I start to get sleepy, I pull into a gas station parking lot and we switch and she'll drive. If she's tired, we find a hotel and camp out for the night. I don't even have the hand-eye coordination to text and drive at the same time, so I don't do that either. So no, I have NEVER driven in an impaired state in my life, and I will continue to maintain that. You may think it's impossible, but it's not.

I'd like to think that if Canada doesn't win the gold, people will understand that it wouldn't be Steve's fault, but who knows.

Maybe they don't want to. Maybe their favorite players aren't on the team. Maybe they don't really care who wins. There's really nothing to not understand. At least in my mind.

Zetts, relax will you? People hate Crosby, they want Canada to lose because he's on their team. Just like we like watching the Penguins lose. It's not a personal affront. I'm an American......you don't see me getting all sand-in-my-shorts because there are Americans here who want to see other countries take the gold medal. No one is insulting or denigrating the country, they just want the hockey team to lose.

Crosby is not a Red Wing. This is a Red Wings board. Pavs and Kronner ARE Red Wings. So yeah, if people here were s***ting on them a lot, sure I'd defend them. They play for our team, and this board is for that team. This board is not LetsGoPens. What exactly do you expect? We hate the guy. So we're going to trash him. If you don't like that, don't read those threads/posts rather than lecturing people constantly about the wonders of Sid the Kid. It gets as old as you think the Crosby-bashing is.

Does Sid have people that pay you to do nothing but say positive things about him all the time? Because I'd like to shoehorn in on that for myself. If I could have people going around talking me up to everyone they see, no matter what, that could do wonders for my self-esteem.

It's fun? Who cares, it's the Olympics.
