First of all, yay a Yankee Haterâ„¢! I love each and every one of you delusional yet beautiful people. Two, it's Pettitte. If you're going to talk about him, spell the name right. Three, Alex is in the same boat as Andy Pettitte. The only people that give him a hard time are Yankee Hatersâ„¢, and while they're special, special people.....they don't count for much. I'll start a thread criticizing the prediction thread.

Sergei Fedorov is not of the caliber player that currently has their number retired. Nor is he of the caliber player that Nick is, since he'll be next one to get immediate number retirement. He had good years here, and we won some cups. The same could be said for a whole host of other players, that doesn't mean they're getting their numbers retired too. He doesn't deserve it. Period.

I think everyone should take turns wiping their asses with the number. There's confidence, and then there's overweening arrogance. Guess which category he falls into?

Incompetence. Clearly and obviously. There is no conspiracy, they just suck at their jobs and they suck at executing those jobs and they suck at interpreting the rules. I bolded the correct answer. Malkin wasn't suspended because not suspending him was the correct call to make. He wasn't NOT suspended because the league was conspiring to give Pittsburgh the Stanley Cup. They won because they were better than us. If we were better, we would have managed more than 1 goal in each of the last two games. They wanted it more, they played harder, they won. That had nothing to do with conspiracies or paranoia. I've seen managers pull their teams off the field for one reason or another, most of it having to do with protesting an umpire's ruling. We should not be playing right now. That was a travesty of the order I have never seen in a hockey game.
