If the Penguins were a better team than the Red Wings, and there was a chance they could sweep us or even just beat us in general, ratings might be higher. The reasoning being, people like watching the mighty fall. If the Wings look strong to repeat as champs, people outside of die-hard fans aren't really going to be interested.

Hank's my man, has been for years. He's been THE guy out there with Pavs injured, so he's had to shoulder a heavy load.....but he's done it marvelously and has kept Crosby to a low simmer. Which isn't easy, I'm sure. There's more to being valuable than scoring a lot of goals. He and Ozzie combined have been nothing short of spectacular since the playoffs began, along with a couple others. I don't doubt he'll do the same in Pittsburgh.

Of all the message boards I belong to, no matter what subject matter they're about, this is the best. Lots of great people. I can't say enough how much I appreciate the work Matt and modmins do to keep this place running. I've been here a year and enjoyed all 365 days + of it.

Suspending him would be following the rules. If you get an instigator in the last 5 minutes of the game, that carries an automatic 1-game suspension. That's the rule as outlined by the NHL. Not suspending him would be bending the rules. Malkin f***ed up, got an instigator.....he should have to pay for that. Sorry.
