You didn't actually answer my question. There are projects in every major city in the United States, that doesn't mean Chicago is an unsafe place to be. And regardless of what city it is, if you're walking around the projects, you have no effing clue what you're doing. I want to know where you were that you felt you needed a gun to protect yourself. My dad is going to think it's a hoot and a half.

I think this goes to show how much people are willing to believe anything they read on the internet. If someone started a rumor on the internet that Ozzie was *** and sleeping with a teammate, it should show up here and at least 1 person would find some anecdotal nothing to that to them, verifies it.

Ozzie is a goalie, though. I'm sure it would get uncomfortable behind the mask and that's why he doesn't do it.

Where on God's green earth did you go where you felt you needed a Glock for protection? Unless you were walking around the projects, there is no reason why you should have felt that way.

You have to know where to go. Avoid the touristy stuff. They'll overcharge you because they know they can. Navy Pier is pretty cheap and you can have a ton of fun there. Lincoln Park Zoo is free and there's a lot of fun things to see and do there. Avoid any restaurant that looks trendy. Chances are it's there to suck in out-of-towners. Pizzeria Uno is better for your money than Giordano's, although Giordano's pizza is better. Hang around the UIC campus, there's a lot of great, cheap places to eat and you're right near Greektown.

Why thank you. That being said, Chicago is a kick-ass city and it sucks that people have had bad experiences there, but I've had bad experiences in a lot of different cities I've been in.....and I don't make blanket statements. This is my home we're talking about here.

Good God yes. Didn't part of it have to do with the fact that he and Bowman were getting along about as well as gasoline and a lit match? I remember reading somewhere that Bowman wanted his forwards to play both offense and defense and Steve didn't think he needed to do that or some such nonsense. Thank GOD that never materialized.
