Now you know why I call him the Kotex Kid.

Yes. GettyImages doesn't allow hotlinking. You have to save the picture to your hard drive, upload it to Imageshack and then post it here.

That picture will never cease to bring me joy.

The league is quite clearly having a hard time reconciling the desire to move away from the "goonery" that can make the game dangerous and the knowledge that said goonery is what draws in casual watchers.

What the Wings are going to do to the Ducks.

Pronger's mom taught him how to cheapshot.

Ooooh, I'm hoping we can get this done. Then again, we got 2000 done with no worries. So here's my contribution.

Rex Hudler is the name of the announcer for the Angels. He was also a player for quite a few years. So it's somewhat understandable to me that there would be a transposing in names. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rex_Hudler

I can understand an own goal happening accidentally. But if one of our guys deliberately came in and shot on Ozzie and it went in......I'd have to applaud the balls of that person.

Well, it's been my experience that men who claim they are "endowed".......really aren't. So there's 2 strikes against our hypothetical 13 year old Luddite.

We know. But the whole "Post X number of times for a Game Y victory" and the juju thing I have going on that I know others are doing too, and other little quirks.....they're fun. It makes us feel like we're a part of it all, rather than just spectators. That's not a bad thing.

I would love for the Canes to advance, if only because I live 1 1/2 hours from Raleigh.

You've basically summed up my feelings on this subject. One thing I'd like to point out that I don't think has been brought up yet; every sport has its villain. The team that you love to hate because they have all the money or they win everything or they're always in the news. In order you have the Yankees, Patriots, Lakers and Red Wings. So there's an undercurrent that runs through the fanbases of those teams, that speaks to a feeling of the league or officials or other teams always trying to keep them down or prolong games/series to somehow "stick it" to them. So it's no surprise that the fans think there's a bias. Do I think the Wings are consistently on the wrong end of calls that they should otherwise not be? Yeah, sometimes. I think our team's reputation precedes us, and that's not always a good thing.

I went to a few games in Atlanta to see the Wings when they were in town, and Philips Arena (where they play) sold pretty well. Then again it's the Wings, who knows if that's why they sold the way they did. Although I did see them play the Bruins and the audiences were pretty comperable. I don't know if moving the Thrashers to some locale unknown is necessarily the smart thing to do. I can see moving Phoenix, they couldn't support a wet paper bag, much less a hockey franchise. As to where they'd go, there really isn't anything in the middle of the country. Kansas City sounds like a great option to me.

We'd all like to see Pavs start scoring, but I'd rather him do everything else right than do everything else wrong PLUS not score. He's never been a liability, even when he slumps. Of all the things the Wings need to concentrate on for any future playoff series we're in this year, Pavs is not one of them.

Pavs is one of the few players on this team I don't worry about.

It's time to step on their throats. Elimination Game #2 for our boys. NO MERCY.

God bless you, Hank. I knew we'd win this game. Everyone take deep, cleansing breaths.

I TOLD YOU PEOPLE THAT EVERYTHING WOULD BE OKAY.

Center your juju, people.
