Lots of great chances, none just could go in.

Listen to the game at NHL GameCenter.

Wings PP coming up!!

I completely agree. Of the following three scenarios, #1 is obviously the best: Come clean before test result leaks, come clean after test results leak, say nothing at all. However, if #1 isn't an option, I'd rather there be some admittance of guilt and contrition rather than continually pulling the wool over our eyes. Energetic first 3 minutes so far. Lots of shots.

I hate steroids as much as the next fan, but at some point you (not you, but a universal you) have to realize there have been drugs in baseball since the very beginning. I was watching a program on the history of drugs in America, and players back in the late 1800s were doing coke on the field. There have been one form of illegal drugs or another throughout the history of the sport, hell Hank Aaron used greenies. A lot of players in the 50s-80s used speed. Remember the Pittsburgh Pirates crack trial? Half the team had to testify against their dealer in court, Tim Raines even had a vial of crack in his back pocket during games and wouldn't slide feet first because he didn't want to break it. The s*** was everywhere. Steroids aren't the worst thing baseball players have used for a competitive edge. I'll love baseball no matter what. That doesn't mean I condone any of this because I don't, I think it's an absolute stain on the game. I think Selig is 60% responsible for the proliferation of steroids in baseball when he received memo after memo about it and sat on it until Congress forced him to intervene about a decade later. I'm convinced that if our economic situation was far better, Congress would have revoked their anti-trust exemption. That said, I can't turn my back on the game because some of the players chose to cheat. I'm sure if you shake the NHL hard enough, you'll find players fall out who weren't exactly squeaky-clean. /end off-topic

As much as I love hockey, baseball was my first love sports-wise. Growing up on the North Side of Chicago, we went to a ton of Cubs games when I was young (even though no one in my house is a Cubs fan). Also, I signed up for MLB.TV about 3 years ago, when family finances were far different and I could afford it. It's automatically taken off my credit card every month, and I'm the one who makes payments on my credit card. If I could afford to pay for both sports, I would.

MLB is no different. I pay $19.95 for MLB.TV so I can watch my team's games since I'm out of market. But if the games are on FOX or ESPN, they're blacked out and I can't watch them. However, there are ways to get around it with different IP addresses the system thinks your computer is coming from somewhere else. It's sneaky, but it works. I'm pretty sure all professional sports that have viewing packages like that have similar roadblocks in place so that nationally-televised games get preference over those shown through streams online or through what the NHL and NFL have.

ATDHE got a C&D letter from the NHL. So they don't have streams up anymore that aren't already on Yahoo!. So stop looking there. You won't find anything. However, you can listen to the game on NHL.com or go to 97.1 The Ticket's webpage and listen to it there. Ken Kal/Paul Woods are better than nothing.

Draper to play in his 1,000th game for the Red Wings tonight
Electrophile replied to Mike's topic in General
1,000 NHL games. This would be his 1,000th as a Red Wing. He didn't play very long in Winnipeg. -
Wrong. Babs said after the last game that Ozzie would start against Philly.

Wings win, Hank with the hat trick. I want to freak out the dweeb behind the counter at the Arby's near my house.
-
From what I had been reading, you were being a complete prat to people and then you wonder why you get people being rude to you in response. If you want to cut your nose off to spite your face, be our guest.
-
Welcome. But why did you quote my post?
-
How ironic would it be if Marty breaks that record on St. Patrick's Day. What a kick in Roy's nuts.
-
See? That's why we're Wings fans. They come through for the fans in their time of need.

She's 21, so I hope so. I mean, she had to rent a car, get a hotel room, book 2 new flights.....she's never had to do any of this before. Throw on the added pressure of not knowing when you're coming home, being under a time crunch and not knowing if you'll have enough money to do it all, and I'm surprised she didn't completely crack. I've talked to her quite a bit already and she's doing fine now. Although there's plenty of people both here and in Chicago (our hometown) who want to take this chick out behind the woodshed for what she did. Not that I blame them. And yeah, if I see her.....you hold her legs down.

You know what? Anaheim can go to hell. And take Mickey Mouse with you, you lame SOBs.

If I was alone in a room with Pronger and LePuke and had one gun with two bullets, I'd shoot LePuke twice.
