Okay, update from my sister for anyone here who cares: She's still in Valdosta, she is flying out tomorrow to Atlanta and then will take a connecting flight to Greensboro. She had to rent a car since the hotel room Delta put her up in is not as close to the airport as she originally thought. She's called me 3 times already in tears because she's lonely and stressed out. She has requested the Wings win for her, as she's a huge fan too. So please, make my poor sister's day. Other than that extra special glimpse into my life, good to see the Wings leading early and I'm shocked to see Ozzie starting two consecutive games. Let's hope the gamble pays off.

Retaliating after a dirty hit is one thing. Going after someone because of a clean hit is another. One is acceptable, the other isn't. If someone did to Nick Lidstrom what Claude Lemieux did to Kris Draper, I would have no problem with Aaron Downey throwing someone over the bench.

I'm serious. There is nothing to do there but drive about an hour south and go to Jacksonville. That's where she spent the bulk of the week for Spring Break. I've been there.......there's nothing there but palm trees and mosquitos.

So it looks like I'll be able to catch the whole game, as my sister's flight got canceled and she's having to spend an extra night in the s***hole that is Valdosta, GA.
