Yes. If we have the best overall record in the NHL come playoff time, we'll have home ice all throughout the playoffs, including the SCF.

Yeah, Ozzie was spectacular today. Couldn't have asked for a better performance out of him.

Accept this: PERFECT IS IMPOSSIBLE. We will never play a "perfect" game because "perfect" is an unattainable construct. We won. By 3 goals. Ozzie got #300 and played his ass off. If you can't be happy with that, the problem lies with you, not everyone else. Now ENOUGH.

Actually, the correct term is St. Paddy's day. Paddy coming from Padraig, which is where we get Patrick from. A friend of mine who is Irish clued me in on that a few years ago after saying she got tired of people saying St. Patty's Day, which is really short for Patricia.

I'm confident we'll pull this out and if what you're saying is true, we owe Ozzie for the fact we still have many chances to come back and win. I want him to get win #300 so maybe some of you will crawl off his ass for 2.5.

From what I'm hearing, the Wings are playing less sluggish and more energized. That's good, hopefully it'll translate into some goals. Not for nothing, but it's hard to win games when you look like you'd rather be tucked in with a binky and your teddy bear.
