Listen to the Wings radio feed at NHL.com. Atdhe had to take down their NHL streams because of a C&D letter from the NHL. The only ones they provide are the Yahoo! feeds when they show games.

Baseball is a sport. Basketball is a sport. Football (American and soccer) are sports. Hockey is a sport. Just because YOU don't like it, doesn't mean you can change its definition. Grow up.

I think baseball is an exciting sport. We have a lot of minor league teams around where I live so my family always catches games during the season. We've seen Winston-Salem's team, Greensboro's team and Durham's team. The Durham games were great because that's AAA.....one step to the big leagues. I was watching baseball before I was watching hockey. Doesn't mean I like one sport over the other.

I think you're mistaking that sentiment with the one that is commonly expressed here, which is we don't NEED to fight in order to win. That's it not necessary. If you've read any of the threads from the last couple games where Downey has played, you'd see that quite a few people have expressed how the team is playing with a little more intensity than normal. Can that be attributed to having a more physical presence on the ice? Probably. No one thinks fighting is inherently a bad thing.

Coming from the person who seems to forget that about 99% of the team we have now won the Stanley Cup last season. Yup, short memories is about right.

Yeah, I don't think teams should get rewarded for losing. Remember in preschool or kindergarten when you'd play sports or games, even the losing team got a trophy or a ribbon or some little token saying "Good job!"? You know, to make sure no one got their feelings hurt. The NHL isn't preschool. If you lose, you lose. You get no points. To the victor go the spoils.

I'm sure there's quite a few basketball teams that make the Lions look like the Patriots.
