Oh cripes, not the "we need an enforcer, that's why we lost/are losing/will lose" argument. Look, I don't think enforcers are unimportant. I don't think fighting is unimportant. They clearly are, or else teams wouldn't utilize them. However, I get sick and tired of every time we lose, someone having to blame the loss on a lack of someone knocking people over and starting fights. It's like some of you have a one-track mind with that s***. It gets old. We lost because of poor defense and Ozzie letting in a couple goals he shouldn't have. I would guess that about 99% of our losses can be attributed to the above scenario, not because we didn't have Aaron Downey on the ice.

Losses happen, I'm not that worried. We lost by one goal, not 3 or 4 so it could have been worse.

Can't win 'em all.

I hate running errands when there's a Wings game going on.....I end up missing half the game. Good to see we've tied it up.

Hmmm, perhaps the Wings are shrewd marketing gurus rather than complete nutters. I hadn't thought of that. This is a stunning development. What they really need is to get lazy fat-ass Americans to watch, so what they should do is have a hot girl sitting in a dunk tank, and if you knock her in the pool, you get all you can eat pizza or nachos or something. Hormonally-crazed men will do anything for free food and hot women. The Wings need to think about tapping into this vast, ignored resource.
