I'd really like a couple of quick goals......deflate the opposition and get it over with.

I want to see lots of energy tonight, lots of speed. Score early and score often, let the Wild know they don't have a prayer in winning.

Who legitimately believes we won't repeat as champs because we don't get into fights? If we don't win the Cup this year, it won't be because this team doesn't get into a ton of fights. It'll be because of poor goaltending or s***ty offense/defense, which funnily enough, is what normally causes teams to lose games. Quel surprise!

Am I the only person here who doesn't give a rat's ass about whether or not this team gets into fights on a nightly basis? Because judging from comments like this, I'm pretty sure I am. I don't watch hockey for the fights. If they happen, they happen but I'm far more interested in skill and talent than the ability to drop your gloves and fake like Tyson for 10 seconds. Now, Feb. 25th's game should be interesting in that we could have Lemieux on the ice for the Sharks and knowing that assclown, anything is possible. However if a fight DOESN'T happen and we win, I won't say the game was really a loss.

I say Wings win big......5-0. 2 goals each for Hank and Pavs and Nick gets the other.

My dad canceled HBO after they canceled Deadwood. He was using filthier words than Al Swearengen, if you can believe it!

For people like me, spending money on Center Ice isn't an option right now. So online streams like the ones that have been discussed already are how I can watch the Red Wings. I would love it if the NHL could make their games more accessible to people, rather than forcing them to pay exorbitant prices just for the privilege. Although for right now, the site-with-streams-that-shall-not-be-named is how I'll watch my team.

They really need to get back together.

BTW, I also guessed we'd win 5-1, so I was close. At least I got the number of goals WE'D score right.

We could use that 2nd Pavs goal here right about now. Hell, I'll take anyone scoring it if it means we aren't sitting on a one-goal lead.

And just like that, our meager lead is padded a tad more. Now, one more by Pavs and that should do it.

I'd really like to see the guys put up at least 2 more goals in the 3rd just to pad our meager lead a bit......if we play the next period like we played the last bit of the 2nd, we could end up in deep doo-doo.
