I don't agree with you often, but I do here. I daresay if it was another Red Wing mired in a bad slump, we wouldn't see a tenth of the threads we've been seeing on Osgood. Nick hasn't been playing at the level we're used to seeing from him....where are the "Lidstrom sucks!" threads? Oh right, that would be sacrilege. I'm sure there's a host of other players on the team right now who aren't performing well.....where are their myriad of threads decrying their existence and calling for their trade/execution? Oh right, there aren't any. Hey guys, how about a little consistency in our hate? Chris Osgood is not playing well. You're not happy, I'm not happy, we're not happy. We are unhappy together. That doesn't mean we need 28394739487 threads talking about how Chris Osgood is not playing well and that you're not happy, I'm not happy and we're not happy. I think at this point, it's understood. It's getting too heavy-handed.

Hank's awesome. I think he'll make a great captain and leader when the time comes. He seems to be a good mix of Steve AND Nick, and then a healthy dash of his own personality. It'll be fun.

For those that have been able to watch the game, have the Wings looked fresher and faster tonight compared to the last 7 or 8 games? Judging by some of your comments they have, but still.

If anything this game shows that Hank and Pavs should be on a line together all the time.
