Ozzie was great last night! That 2nd Minnesota goal I agree, was a crock. Kronwell effed up, so that one is on him. Otherwise, for playing for the first time in 3 weeks after an injury, he was fantastic. Especially in the shoot-out. I've got nothing but love for Ozzie anyway.

I'm sure he's honored to get to play, and I don't think he gives a s*** one way or the other about whether or not he actually earned it. Most professional athletes don't have consciences when it comes to that. Some teams have bonuses attached to contracts stating that if you make the starting lineup of the ASG you get X amount of dollars, if you make the team period you get Y amount of dollars or something like that, so why would they look a gift horse in the mouth? You see it in baseball, basketball, hockey and football. Money rules all. And so does ego. He'd look around and think "God damn, I'm that good. I'm sitting next to Ovechkin."

I just watched that fight again. Well, it wasn't really a fight. More like a light tussle. Anyway, it gets funnier the more times you watch it.

Well......we care! It's fun. Pasha is an amazing player and I don't doubt at some point down the road we're going to have 8, 9 maybe 10 of these to choose from. Doesn't mean we can't debate now on which one is the keenest.

Definitely Turco. The move was invented that night. I remember turning to my dad and going "Did you see that? What the hell was that?!"

Before Pasha took his shot, I started typing here that I wanted a goal like the one he scored on Turco. Lo and behold, that's just what I got. The site got super-slow all of a sudden though, so it didn't get posted until AFTER, otherwise I would have looked like the Amazing Kreskin.

The linesmen should have just said "Put your clothes on, you're embarrassing yourself" and told him to get back to the bench. I don't think that even qualified as a fight!

The same problem exists in the MLB with their All-Star game fan balloting. The fans don't really give a s*** about numbers, or who plays what position better than whom. They care about 2 or 3 things. Name recognition, name recognition, name recognition. They care about voting for whomever is cool to vote for at that time and nothing else. Sidney Crosby should only be at the All-Star game in 3 weeks to serve beer to the fans, not to play. There are a lot of deserving guys that get shafted because 80% of hockey fans are dumbasses.

Sweet. Effing. Christ. The last time I saw two people fight like that, I was still wearing pigtails and playing with Barbie dolls. Embarrassing doesn't even begin to cover it, really. Wow. If any Red Wing fought like that, I'd want them to wear pink on the ice instead of red.

Is there anyone in the NHL more *****-tastic than Sidney Crosby? My mom could throw down better than this guy.

Honestly, the game was a little boring until the end. Basically the 2nd & 3rd periods were a snooze-fest until the Franzen goal and then the shoot-out. They came out great in the 1st period and then just energy-wise, fell apart. At least that's how I felt about it.

Great win. It was nice to see the team finally wake up there at the end. I guess the Ambien wore off. Big fat kudoes go to Ozzie for holding it down all night.

I want a classic Pasha goal, like the one on Turco.
