Oddly enough, I dreamt about them last night as well. They won the Stanley Cup, but they were wearing the red jerseys not the white. So either I was seeing what I wanted to see last night, or they win in 7 on my birthday.

I see. Thanks. Yeah, it's not something I pay attention to, but now that I know what it is, I probably will now. I would imagine it's hard to get the puck to drop right in the center of the two players, seeing as I've never tried to do that before.

I'm not clear on something; are you saying that the pucks aren't being dropped fairly or is someone on the Penguins saying that? I ask because of your last sentence; the unfair puck drops being won by the Red Wings. That said, I honestly haven't noticed as much. It's not something I usually pay attention to. And how do you drop a puck "fairly"? I wasn't aware there is a fair and unfair way to do it.

I want to be able to enjoy my birthday, not spend it like I did last night, sick to my stomach and full of nerves. I want to enjoy my birthday dinner, not beg my friends to get me home in time to watch the game. They won on my birthday in '97, but that was a sweep and I was less nervous then than I am now. I prefer this team close it out on Wednesday.

The officiating has been absolutely horrible all series, and as you said.....it's not why we lost. But it's been so god awful. I mean, the blind could see that some of these calls were wrong. O'Halloran must be the worst I've ever seen in a long time.

I blame my sister for moving my Steve Yzerman jersey off the couch where I had it nicely laid out. If she'd left it alone, we would have won. So f*** her.

This game is not on him. We started the game like old people f***; slow and sloppy. We gave the puck up, we gave up an own goal, we shot at Fleury 50+ times and couldn't hit water if we fell out of a boat and we couldn't clear the puck with 34 seconds left. That's on the defense and the offense, not him. Our defense isn't supposed to let Pens players get chance after chance to shoot the puck, you're supposed to clear that s*** out. We didn't do that. If he gave up goals from the blue line, misplayed pucks or got caught out of the crease, then yes......you could blame him. But not tonight. Conn Smythe to scapegoat is about right.
