It's not entirely the refs fault. The goalie interference call on Homer was a joke, but we also were playing sloppy and stupid. We're not owed anything.

I'm not sure what's worse - the fact we've been taking so many stupid and irresponsible penalties, or the fact that Minnesota hasn't been able to capitalize on any of them.

I look at it this way - the Norris Trophy is Nick's to lose every season. Sometimes he wins it, sometimes he doesn't. Either way, he starts out with it.

Well, since before the last four games I've said we'd win, and we ended up NOT winning, I'm doing some reverse mojo for this game. We're going to lose. Horribly. 5-0 at least. Pavs, Hank, Nick, and Kronner will be injured.

Seriously, what is wrong with the energy level of this team? They look like they just got done playing 20 games in a row. I'm out of shape, can't ice skate, and would probably kill myself trying, but I'd have more energy out there than they did. Are they physically incapable of playing back to back games? Trades won't fix that, but giving their coaching staff a kick in the ass might.

I know hockey is a very physically demanding sport, but do we need to start questioning their strength and conditioning coaches? I can't see any reason why athletes as well-conditioned as they are, having such a disturbing lack of energy in back-to-back games. I mean, this is bordering on absurd.

There's a difference between saying the team is playing like ass, which I just did, and thinking that because the team is playing like ass, we're screwed. I'm concerned that we're not playing well, but I don't think that what we're seeing now is going to be the whole of the season. That's not being a homer. That's called not overreacting.
