I seriously hope Conklin rebounds, because I never want to see the word "Craplin" posted on this site again.
-
Wait, you can do that? You can't do that in baseball - once you're pulled, that's it for you. http://freeredwings.tv

Could we have been s***tier in their zone right then?
-
This could get ugly for the Blue Jackets.
-
Mason's injured?

TIE GAME!! :siren:

Thanks to you, I haven't missed a game all season. I appreciate ya.

I said I don't find them particularly funny. They're hackneyed, overused memes, but that doesn't mean that much like the proverbial blind squirrel, it fails to find a nut once in a blue moon. Sorry my taste in humor is bit above "LOLZ CHEEZBURGERZ!"

I'm 29, so you can cross out Elmo. I'm an atheist, so you can cross out Jesus. I don't think lolcats are particularly that funny, so you can cross that out too. If Steve Yzerman said something offensive, I'd be embarrassed as a fan. So you can cross that off too. Well, I guess that leaves you with no point. Nicely done.

One person made a comment to this affect, but I don't believe anyone else here said they were happy he was hurt, or that they hoped he lost an eye, or that his career was over. Your post would have been better suited if everyone had. He goes in the same pile for me as Corey Perry, Matt Cooke, and other douchebags, but that doesn't mean I find joy in his obvious pain, and I hope I can speak for others in that as well. There's no need for any moralizing.

This is the point sailing over your head--> * This is your head ----------------------------> O It has nothing to do with who is untouchable and who is not. It has to do with constructive criticism that isn't insulting. Lidstrom can be criticized as much as Conklin, but that doesn't mean because one is our captain and the other is our back-up goaltender, one is afforded more respect than the other. They both play for our team, they're both important cogs to our team's success, and that's that. If you can't criticize either one without giving them sophomoric nicknames, then let someone else make your point better and just +1 them.

I loathe Chris Pronger. I hope he's not seriously injured, but I still loathe him. I can hate you and hope you don't die all at the same time.

Win.

We understand that players will have bad games, and will under-perform. We also understand that other fans may not appreciate said under-performance. However, calling players "Craplin" and "McGarbage"? What are you, 12? So yeah, you're not going to make many friends here insulting the players. Other people here know how to voice displeasure with someone's performance without doing that.

Mindfly should go slap Howard's wife for having the temerity to give birth during the season. Perhaps he advocates celibacy for all players, or maybe only allowing them to f*** during certain times of the year so that if any babies are born, they're born during the off-season. That way they won't put undue burden on their teams by deigning to procreate.

You don't really want to make any friends here, do you?
-
I agree, but there aren't a bunch of pages here, really. Nine isn't really a lot here, win or lose.
-
No. We had a poster predict a 20-page thread with nothing but whining and bitching, but as you can see, we aren't even to 10 pages, and there's not much whining or bitching to be seen.
-
Remember the St. Louis game last season where we all started rooting for the Blues to hit double-digit goals? That was awesome fun.
-
LOL, we lose and still can't manage 10 pages. Thanks for not being overreactionary, guys.
-
The best part of this game is it's almost over, and we have a game Tuesday to win. All is not lost.
-
I'm touched, Stephen. Truly.

I edited my post to reflect my new found knowledge. Also, you're so smart.

I love, love, love the mouse-over text. It's hilarious.
