It's an EXHIBITION GAME. You shouldn't be required to play in an EXHIBITION GAME. Discipline him if the Wings are in Game 7 of the Cup Finals and he decides to stay home and play with his Nintendo Wii. It's a stupid, meaningless game that has in recent years, become devoid of anything remotely interesting or entertaining. I would actually love it if NO Red Wings played in the ASG, since I'd rather the guys be well-rested and somewhat healed up for the 2nd half the season, than busting their butts in a game that has zero effect on the standings.

I haven't watched the ASG in years.....probably close to a decade or more now. Much like the MLB ASG, it's not about the best players, it's about the players with the most name/face recognition, so deserving players don't get picked. Which makes it less an "All-Star Game" and more "Sweet Valley High Prom King Finals."

I like that we scored 6 goals, I do not like that the other team scored 5. We need to work on that, as much as we can.

The Wings need to pull their heads from their butts. I know things are looking dreary because of all these injuries, but this is when you want the team to overcome this adversity and rise to the challenge. They can do it. To quote the American wordsmith Steve Miller, "you gotta go through hell before you get to heaven."
