This is true. I think we need to devise a scale or a weighted measure of some kind, whereby we determine the likelihood of X woman having anything to do with Y man, were he not a semi-famous athlete with some scratch to his name. For example, the uglier the guy and the hotter the girl, the less likely she would be to seen with him, if he weren't rich. We'll call it the Ric Ocasek Scale. Not necessarily impugning their marriage, just that have you see Ric Ocasek? Yikes. -

In a perfect world, no Red Wings would go, because they'd all decline. The All-Star Game is a joke, has been for years, and I'd rather the guys on my team spend those few days resting and healing up and getting their s*** together for the 2nd half of the season, than playing in some stupid, meaningless game. Besides, if I want to watch the league's best players play hockey, I'll turn on a Red Wings game. -

When I go to http://cbssports.com/nhl to watch the GameCenter for this game, why is Crosby and that molester 'stache of his on the front page? He's not playing. He's injured. He's a non-factor in any Pens game until he comes back. They couldn't have found someone's mug to stick up there?

Basketball is boring, at least to me. Same with football. I never got into either sport.

And here I was hoping Steckel's hit might have knocked some sense into him. I don't think in all the years I've been watching hockey, I've seen such an entitled, whiny, pusillanimous individual as Sidney Crosby. It really and truly boggles my mind.

I've always advocated punishments like that for really out-of-line injuries/hits like what happened to Stuart. The league needs to start cracking down on head shots.

Goals that tie the game are good.

Steve was the man, is the man, was the man. He played in the '02 SCF on half a leg. One knee was s*** and the other was about to go too. I still remember when he took that puck to the face though, because he'd get injured sometimes and you never saw him react to it violently. He would just get off the ice and that was that. This downed him like a felled tree and watching him writhe around and kick on the ice like that was disturbing.
