I'm glad I didn't see Pittsburgh winning the Cup in there. That would have been my vote. My choice though, goes to Nick retiring. I have a feeling it's going to happen, but that doesn't mean I'm going to enjoy it when it does. Same as when Steve retired. You knew it was coming, you tried to brace yourself for it, but it still was a gut-punch anyway. This team, and its fans, are not prepared for the post-Lidstrom apocalypse.

Nah, the only hockey team I truly loathe are the s***birds. The rest I could care less about. I meant a team in another sport. -
This is basically my feeling as well. I hate the s***birds, so I'm rooting against them. Doesn't mean I'm a Philly fan. I could care less who wins the Cup now, as long as it's not Pittsburgh. Then I'd care. For me, it's time to dive headlong into baseball. Best part of the end of hockey season, whenever it comes, is now I can devote myself to my other sports passion.

As many times as I damn well want. Just like I'll complain about the weather if I want to, or the fact Old Navy didn't have the flip-flops I wanted in my size when I went shopping today. I liked that I got negged for saying that the blame shouldn't be dumped on just one person, that everyone involved played a part in us getting bounced out in the first round. I wasn't aware that was verboten around these parts. -
God, quit bitching about the Weber non-suspension. It wouldn't have made a damn bit of difference in the series.

More than two people were responsible for our season ending short. Babs didn't utilize what little he had to his best advantage, Holland hasn't done much to improve the team the last few seasons, and the players themselves woefully underperformed, save a couple people. -
Has any hockey player in recent history gotten that prolonged a suspension before? I honestly can't remember. Frankly though, he deserves it. That was beyond the pall, even compared to some of the insanity we've seen already.

I love to see Philly win because I can't stand the s***birds, but I'm not cheering for them so much as I'm rooting against Pittsburgh. So hockey is essentially over for me. I have one team, and they're not in it anymore. Besides, IT'S BASEBALL SEASON!

No. Body language says a lot. He looked defeated, just like Yzerman did in '06. It wasn't the "we just lost and I'm upset" look, either. We f***ed him over just like we f***ed over Steve.

Nightfall thinks their s*** smells like rose petals and is incapable of seeing the team objectively. I say that because anyone who thinks Holland is going to improve this team when he's done f***-all in that area for three seasons straight now, clearly can't see the forest for the trees. The team is flawed. -
If I wasn't a fan, I wouldn't be pissed off. If you're not even remotely annoyed by this crap or thought this season was even close to entertaining, you must have just snorted a rail of elephant tranquilizers.
